Jaye's Catering Review
The food was not comparable to the samples that were provided at the tasting. The tasting was great!! Sad to say the day of the wedding many of our guest were served raw potatoes, the bell peppers and onions in the fajita were raw, the meat had no taste, the tortillas were not warmed up, and the cake was worse than a home made cake, lob-sided, and sat on a regular piece of foil paper. The presentation was nothing like the pictures on the website!! I would never use this vendor again or recommend it to anyone!!!! Be careful they have much to learn!!!

We used Jaye's Catering for my daughter's wedding and were extremely disappointed. She made many promises as to what she would do and fell short on almost everything.
She showed us a picture of a fruit display that she said she would provide but merely threw the fruit on a platter. She promised croissant sandwiches and only provided croissants with nothing to go inside. She promised homemade tortillas for fajetas and threw some from a package into a warmer that did not even keep them warm. There were no veggies in the salad or the fajetas nor were there any for the promised sandwiches.
She was not able to even keep the food she had on the table stocked. She brought only 3 bags of ice for 125 guests on a very hot day. That was gone very quickly and my husband had to go out to get more during his own daughters wedding. Our guest ended up helping her put food and warm water and punch out.
It was ridiculous... She promised to have 4 to 5 people there to help but only had herself and one other lady. She did not even provide all the foods she contracted to make. She was late to the event.
She asked that we pay her in advance, which we did, or she would not have received her full amount. She left the kitchen she used dirty for us to clean up after she left. There was much, much more that I could write but won't. I just want to warn others so they don't have to have a similar experience.
I don't usually write reviews but feel like others need to be warned to not do business with this woman, Jean'na Scoggins. I tried to write a letter to her after the event but it was returned unopened. I sent her an email and it was not answered. So, be ware of this company.
I learned that references mean everything when planning an important event.
I took her word and trusted her story. She did not fulfill her contract.
