They RIPPED ME OFF

My company was asked for a quote to trace ten people who were involved in an incident many years ago. We were contacted and were dealing with Mark O'Leary. He explained why he wished to trace these people (for a programme they were working on). We provided our fee quote, which was 70% less that we would normally charge. Two days later O'Leary came back and asked us to go ahead. We have previously advided Mark O'Learly of our terms (Payment upon completin, before we send any details and within seven days of completion. By instructng us to proceed, he agreed to these terms. Upon completin, we sent our invoice. We then received an email from Mark O'Leary askin gus to send "proof" that we had found the people... proof could only be the addresses, which quite clearly, we were not going to send. He then quoted a fake review that he had found online (a review which I was well aware of, not only the content but the competitor who had written it - there was legal action taken against the competitor. We advised Mark O'Leary of this and once again, he staed he wanted proof - I asked him what he wanted - he ignored the request made by me. Mark O'Leary (Jame Creative Consultancy) owes me £ 500.00. My wife is a nurse and I have two young children. With the current virus outbreak, as you can imagine things are not easy and are going to get worse. I am disgusted that O'Learly thinks it is acceptable to rip me off. I run a small business that has traded for over 23 years. I WILL be taking him to court over this but in the meantime, looking at these reviews on here, it seems that O'Leary is fine to deal with when they are working for you but be warned, if they ask YOU to work for them, my advice would be to stay away!
