We recently purchased a house, and while our agent worked his *** off, Jade Mills, the seller's agent lied and cut corners throughout the entire process, nearly delayed closing for completely avoidable and foreseeable reasons, and in general made the deal very unpleasant. (Initial negotiations were easy and equitable. We had no trouble agreeing on price with the sellers.)
The seller was a trust and we have no reason to think that Jade Mills, the realtor even kept them in the loop about the sale after initial negotiations. (They probably have several houses for sale at any given time, most of which seem to have this Jade Mills realtor as the listing agent.) Jade Mills has a fancy website, and is established in the market and appeared to arrange for all of the repairs of inspection and appraisal items herself.
The house was vacant before and throughout the closing and access was not a problem.
Of course, instead of getting repairs done, Jade Mills lied about them being done until it was almost too late, putting the closing in jeopardy and costing the sellers a lot more money than needed to in last minute repairs. When we took possession, no one had even swept the kitchen floor.
