Jacobs Career College

I graduated in 2012, with an Associates in Medical Assistance and have nothing to show for ot but a piece of paper.... can i sue

I went to miami jacobs (springboro location) for skin and nails. Besides paying (and still having to pay) over 10k in loans for a 1 yr certification course, i had over 20 different teachers, which maybe 2 of the 20 were licensed to be teaching period.

The rest were baby sitters. Not licensed in the field of anything. To make matters worse after i taught myself for a year i did take my board exams, and as i was proud of my acomplishments i was laughed at in my face when attempting to get a job in my field because of the school i attended since it was well known throughout the professional field that miami jacobs was a joke. As of today being out of school for roughly 10 yrs i am a waitress not a nail tech, i have lost my federal taxes in all already, even making payments for my loans and yet still owe 4k.

I had to also pay miami jacobs a chunk every month.

MIAMI JACOBS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF! NOTHING BUT AN UNACCEPTABLE BUILDING THAT CAN TALK A VERY GOOD GAME TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR AND SIGN YOUR LIFE AWAY. THEY PREY ON PEOPLES URGE TO BETTER THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES.

THE STUDENT TEACHES THEMSELVES WITH NO HELP OR INSTRUCTION BY A REAL TEACHER. AND YET STUDENTS PAY 10K TO LORD KNOWS HOW MUCH?! I SEE WHY MIAMI JACOBS IS FINALLY SHUTTING THE DOORS. OH AND DONT ATTEMPT TO QUESTION WHY YOU DONT HAVE A TEACHER.

THEN YOU ARE PUT ON PROBATION WITH THE SCHOOL AND THREATENED TO BE KICKED OUT.

JOKE, JOKE, JOKE. I CANT SAY IT ENOUGH.

I am a former student of this sham of a school. The so called "Admissions Representatives" will quite literally say anything to persuade you to attend.

Financial Aid has absolutely no clue what the *** they are doing. Most of the teachers aren't even accredited, let alone fit to teach the classes they do. (For example: My first class was Anatomy, Physiology, and Chemistry. I spent many countless nights studying to be able to pass ONLY to have the teacher give us all the answers to quizzes and tests right before we took them!) It's just like being back in Pre-K.

If you have a problem with anything, you have to go through at least 4 different people before someone has an answer. To top everything off, if you don't complete your term, you can be charged outrageous amounts of money (and it's turned over to collections within 2 weeks if unpaid) and you won't be able to get your transcript. If you go here, you may as well give up trying to go anywhere else because they will find a way to stop you.

If you're thinking about going here, STOP. You'll be out more money than what you sunk into it to begin with.
