Jacksons Mobile Home Moving Service Reviews

Do not use this mover. He is not licensed to moved mobile homes. I own a 14x80 Palm Harbor. After speaking with Mr Jackson he came and looked over my home and quoted me $1,300 to move it. I pay half up front and the other half after its moved and set. He came and looked at my home and then we drove over to the new lot. There we signed a contract and I gave him $650. The move date was coming up. Mr Jackson showed up and hooked his truck up. He put it in reverse and said it was stuck. He needed a house tug. The things he said we could leave in the house needed to come out. I went and rented a Uhaul. We worked the rest of the day loading the Uhaul. I had the Uhaul for 3 days sitting next to my home waiting for Mr Jackson to come back like we had discussed. The Uhaul in total cost me $637. I had to move my things. I got a pack rat and put it on my new lot. That was $223. I began calling and texting Mr Jackson daily. Months had gone by with every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't move my home. All of this time and his wheels were still under my home. I decided to hire a new mover. I asked Mr Jackson for my money back since my home hadn't been moved. He said " no he wasn't giving my money back, I feel like I've done my part." My home hasn't moved an inch. On to the new mover. He comes to check my home. Jackson's wheels are still under my home. When the new mover comes to move it Jackson had taken his wheels and left my home sitting at about a 35 degree slant barely off the ground. The new mover goes under to set up and finds that Jackson has damaged my frame so badly that it can't be moved without a complete repair of the whole front of the frame. I had to find a welder that could do the repairs. The welding is costing $2,000!!! I could have choked. There is so much more to the story. My family and I have been living place to place for 8 months because of all of this. I'm a single mother of 4. My youngest child has a terminal illness. I've been broken and deeply heartbroken over this whole situation. I will be suing Mr Jackson. I know I'm not the only one he's done this to.
