Great value

Flat fee MLS works. Why pay big commission. MLS, Realtor.com, go to were the buyers are. The real estate business is changing. Just like you pay a fraction of what you pay your stock broker. If you want to sell you home you have to consider saving money with a flat fee listing, bottom line you will get the results your looking for, great price, faster sale. Customers who use a flat fee MLS service go into the same MLS that any one goes into. While you are in the MLS you can still sell Fsbo, and find your own buyer, and save commission.

It works

Listed my home for a flat fee, went into Realtor.com and Trulia, Zillow and the local MLS. Got the results I wanted, and Jack was a big help. The real estate business is changing, and I found there was no reason to pay a big commission. Put more money in your pocket when selling. Realtor.com got me exposure I could not get on my own and I got lots of interest in that site. I tried on craigslist and with just a sign but did not get any real buyers, lots of lookers and people who wasted my time.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JACK HAYES

He is indeed a real *** hole and very unprofessional. DO NOT DO IT! You will be taken advantage of for sure. In addition, he and his company are very dismissive and non sympathetic to whatever financial injury you might sustain while doing business with him. I find him, his business practices, and businesses to be very suspect. Please let this review serve as a SCAM ALERT. While I understand some people have have to be pompous while doing business, there is a difference than being simply unprofessional. If you call his company in most cases, no one will answer the phone. Then when someone gives you a call back, they will NOT PROVIDE THEIR NAME when you speak with them so that you can't have a track record or paper trail to hold folks accountable for. This is disgusting and a blatant violation of business ethics 101. I have been in business for several years and have over a decade of managerial experience, in addition to have an MBA. I can honestly say, Jack Hayes appears to be at the bottom 5 percent of horrible business people I've dealt throughout the Nation that I have dealt with. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JACK HAYES!

Had great service

I save thousands when I used his flat fee listing, got me in the MLS and Realtor.com for $500, my house sold for a great price, and in 30 days, and he helped with contract for no additional charge. I enjoyed working with Jack, his 30 years of experience were helpful, in that he knew my area, and knew what I was trying to accomplish. We had some questions about how to get the buyer to go to contract and he provided all the contracts and info on how to fill in the information. Best part was we saved thousands of dollars if we would have paid a six percent commission.

Do not do business with Jack Hayes. He will take the money and run.

For a $500 fee, I got an MLS listing that looked like it was written by a 5-year-old. The text had no punctuation or capitalization, and contained several errors (aside from grammatical). Repeated phone calls and e-mails were ignored. I eventually terminated my contract with Jack, and was entitled to a full refund per the contract. Jack ignored my repeated requests for repayment. I had to cut his lock box from my door with bolt cutters. I took him to court to recover my $500, but he failed to show for all appearances. I doubt I will get my money back from him. Learn from my mistake.

Also did business with Jack, but had a better experience. We treated the whole thing like For Sale By Owner -- developed our own advertising materials, photos, and descriptions, and gave them to Jack already complete. When we asked him to do specific things at a specific time ("right now"), he would do them.

He has been friendly and ready with advice -- he's obviously an experienced Realtor often needs prompting to follow through on things.
