When I dropped off clothes manager acted like she was mad at the world. Spoke to her did not speak. Asked if pants were going to be lightly starched, looked at me like I was crazy. Called to check out why clothes cost so much to clean. She said, "I said you had 16 pieces of clothes." Manager told me 9 plus 6 equals 16 pieces of clothes. Horrible

Ruined Shoes by Jack Brown Cleaners and Shoe Repair in Leander, TX

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Jack Brown Cleaners, Leander, TX I left a pair of Vionic sandals to be fixed. There was a tear in one of the straps. I left detailed instructions. The girl at the counter did not write what was wrong. So instead of the shoe repair guy calling and finding out what needed to be done, he replaced the buckles on both shoes, which were not broken at all, with buckles that did not match what was on the shoes. The buckles he installed were dark brown. The buckles on the shoes were beige. When I asked them to put back the buckles were on the shoes originally, they refused. If I would agree to live with the new color buckles, they do not fit the straps so I cannot even put the shoes on.. It is impossible to open or close the buckle. The material they replaced was too thick. I have been trying to work with them but to no avail. The manager said she put in a complaint and I filled out a form for the replacement my shoes. I have not heard back anything. This is my last attempt to get this resolved without taking you to small claims court. I will win, and when I do you will not only have to pay for the replacement of my shoes, but you will lose time from away from your business and you will need to pay court costs on top of that. I hope we can settle this unfortunate situation. If this is not resolved to my satisfaction by July 15th, I will file the court papers. Do the right thing and make this go away. Sincerely, Gail Dupuy 504-756-**** gaildupuy@***.com This is my last attempt to rectify this matter without going to small claims court. store hey s

Jack Brown Cleaners Shoe Repair Review from Round Rock, Texas

Beware! You can trust the "manager" at W. Parmer Ln. location. I was promised a Simple boot repair in a week but I called & it was actually going to take 2+ weeks! I need my boots for work. I tried to explain this when I dropped the One boot off for repair then also when I called to check if the boot was ready Over a week later. The guy I spoke to claiming to be the manager, was sarcastic & curt. I told him I wanted to just pick up the boot then he was uncooperative & more sarcastic. Ridiculous! The most unprofessionally run business ever!

Jack Brown Cleaners is the worst ever!!!

Yes, just like you saw, THE WORST CLENERS EVER!!!! I can not be more clear than this. Let me tell you my story. I just got married July 18 and was thinking that a dry cleaners will do a good job cleaning my wedding gown and my husband's outfit for the wedding. Well, I was wrong. I would've done it myself and safe my dress and my husband's shirt. When I went to pick up my dress there was weird steins on the skirt of the dress and also on the bottom, it looks like they sweep the floor with it and then try to clean it. My dress was completely destroyed, and this is a Nicolle Miller Designer Dress. Also, my husband's white shirt had a yellowish stein in the back of the shirt. When I talked told her that this was unacceptable, she told me that they were going to send both pieces back to clean. I waited 2 weeks for this to happen and when I went back to the cleaners the dress was in the same conditions or worst. I filled out a form at the cleaners and waited for them to call me back, they never did. Finally I talked to the "owner", and he stated that the shirt was not damaged, and that they do not refund any money on wedding dresses that wedding dresses get extremely damaged. Come on, I just wore the dress for 2 hours maximum and change on a different dress, I didn't even had dinner with the dress on. That is a lie. Anyways, I will advice you not to take your clothes to this cleaners unless you want to get rid of them. I used Jack Brown Cleaners located on Bee Caves/ Hwy 71.
