J.R. Cycles taking advantage of customers

Updated by user Mar 17, 2012

Just to clarify, when they did my oil change, they too my bike for four days. This is my only form of transportation and it is ridiculous that it would take that long for an oil change.

I am a female and i also drive a Honda motorcycle. It is an old bike (1980) and it is very difficult to find my parts anywhere else. I have been going there now for 3 years. First off i would like to say that the manager is always friendly, but i really think he half *** his job and over charges. I got an oil change and a few other services awhile back and as i was driving to work one day not much longer than a couple of days afterward my bike started heating up and steaming real bad. This motorcycle dude checked and said i had NO oil in my bike. I put new oil in and i decided to let it go cause i couldn't make it back to the shop. But then the next time i went I was charged $106 total for an oil change and a new blinker bulb. (the bulb was $1.25). I don't know about you but i find this price to be ridiculously high and i am very disappointed that i would be charged this much after being such a frequent client. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Old bikes eat oil worn rings all the rubber rots and then people that are beginners dont know how to drive it but personally you should just go back to that shop and ask them to re service that bike im sure they might be happy to service your "old" honda unless you had another mechanic work on it witch voids the warranty ......have a nice day....
