If I could leave a 0 I would. My son went to this car lot to purchase a car and ended up buying a used 2013 Kia Sorrento.
After we got the car home we noticed some noise coming from the front of the car that wasn't there on the test drive. After inspecting the car we came to the conclusion that the brake pads were bad on the front of the car. We called the dealership and talked to Kevin the sales man/ part owner and told him the problem. The first thing out of Kevins mouth was " I'm not doing a brake job on that car".
I asked him why he would sell a 17 year old boy a car with bad breaks. Kevin stated we marked the price down on that car so we won't fix the brakes besides you test drove it. So it is more important to make a sale than the safety of the people he sells to. Kevin kept repeating that this was an AS IS sale and he isn't required to do the brakes.
Kevin then replied he didn't know the brakes were bad. Also Kevin said he inspected the brakes with a flash light before the sale. INSPECTED THE BRAKES WITH A FLASH LIGHT. Kevin admitted to me he knew the brakes were low but he didn't know how low.
I guess that's because he inspected the breaks with a flashlight. I told Kevin that I was very disappointed with his attitude over his company not being willing to work with me and fix the breaks so my son was safe driving the car he sold him but Kevin continued to let me know it was an AS IS sale. How could you knowingly sell a used car with brakes that are low. Why not just fix the breaks for $100 bucks and feel good about the sale knowing you did the right thing for his customers.
Be very careful who you by a car from because companies like J&K Auto will get you hurt or even worse KILLED. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
