Poor Service We have been with iTalkBB for 12 years. We want to transfer our phone number to my cell phone company with a new line, they do not tell us correct information to transfer, waste lots time. If there is an option for us to leave NEGATIVE stars, we would. The only thing they know is to charge you as long as possible.

Delaying porting with all excuses

I have been using their service for more than a decade and am not an active phone user. Now I want to port my number out but we have made 4 requests during ~10 days and the company is using all kinds of excuses to reject the request. Really disappointed.

No service but still charge your money

After following their suggestions to upgrade the equipment, we mailed the old equipment back to them, but they still charge me for two equipments, they said I did not cancel the old equipment. I do not understand what upgrade meant I them. After I found out, they do not give me refund. DO NOT TRUST them.

CHANGED PLAN WITHOUT PERMISSION, OVER CHARGE FOR 6 YEARS.

I joined ITALK BB since 2007, so I am a long time customer. I like your original program because my relatives can call from China even though I paid for the services here in the USA without extra fee.

The Plan is called Global Unlimited Plan connected to my Home phone land- line only with an oversea call back #950..., the annual fee of $299.00.

But since WE CHAT was very popular and I have been using it to communicate with my friends and relatives in China, I did not use this service but put it as an emergency service when needed.

Due to ITBB reputation and their constant calling and emailing me to ask how is the service and to tell me about promotions, I did not change company since 2007.

Recently , my relatives tried to call me using ITBB lane line, it did not go through. They informed me only through WE CHAT.

I cannot believe my most trusted ITBB disconnected my call back #950 which is my oversea long distance service for over 6 years ago since 2004 without asking the Permission of me the Customer but continued to charge the same amount of $299.00 a year totaling $1800.00 for 6 years.

The land -line Home phone should only be charged $5.00 per month or $60.00 per year in your programs. So I should have paid only $360.00 Total for the last 6 years.

This is a serious violation of Customers rights and dishonesty. The manager on the phone I talked to, Ms Xie, told me No matter who I talked to will give me the same answer when I requested to talk to higher management after she was not able to help me too much .

She only later agreed to give me 3 months of Free discounts at the end of the next 2 years totaling only $149.50.

This is so obviously unreasonable compensation of possible fraud treatment of customer.

Is ITBB treating Chinese customers like this as a Chinese company....? Are you proud of your business methods ?

Are you being fair to your long time customer? Would administration department of ITBB read the reviews and do something to correct the mistake?

Called company to look into cell service in USA. Was given price of $60/ for 2 lines and 1g/month data. Was told you can cancel service at anytime, then they told us if we get house line , we could save $7/month and no charge for house line. Wife told them we didnt need this but they said we could just put box in drawer and not use it. After 6 months we found that we reached the data limit after 1 week, when wife used slow data as they described, txt messages she sent to friends never arrived!!! Slow speed data was not as advertised. Attempted to complain about bad service but only Chinese speaking techs, told to call back later, called back 8 hours later, nobody answered until my 5th call during 2 hr period. English speaker did not speak/understand very much. Decided to cancel service ( my wife speaks Chinese so she called and they agreeed to cancel cell service, my wife said we want to cancel home service too but they said we must pay $100 cancellation fee AND pay them back $7/month savings we got during our 6 months of service . We told them that isnt true, they said no charge, can cancel anytime but she said only for cell service , must keep house line for 1yr. Or pay $100 cancel fee and the $7/month savings. Which they didnt tell us when we signed up for this too. I would discourage anyone from using this poor service company!!! Deceptive sales people!!! Never received any contract/email/letter and never told of any cancelation fees , only no charge/cancel any time

Get you in with FREE but didn't stick with service you dont need but have to pay for.

ItalkBB had a prize wheel at their booth at a local fair. I spun it and win a free year TV service. While I don't watch Chinese TV but I thought it would be something my mom could enjoy. The sales person told me I won free service for a year but what he DID NOT mention was it was combo with phone service (which I DO NOT need) but now have to pay for. I was told that they didn't have any more English forms only Chinese, so I had fill out the Chinese form. A couple of months later I called the company to ask about a charge on my credit card (because it was free service). They told me that I signed a contact and have to pay almost $10/month for a service I don't need. Every time I called I selected an English-speaking operator but seems like they don't have too many of those. So they told me someone will call me back. So they pull you in with FREE, neglect to tell you what is not and you're stuck paying for a service you don't need or charge you penalties for cancelling the contract.

I have terminated my service with them a year ago. This year they charged over 300 dollars on my credit card. Credit card company refused to dispute because they said Italkbb has my credit card. ITalkbb sucks! Don't use their service if you don't want to be overcharged. a terrible company!

They lock u in a contract and have people working for them that don't know much about computers. This system USES UP A LOT OF YOUR WIFI. Customer service gives u a lot of run around not really wanting to help u or can't. EVEN THE DISTRICT MGR. IS THE SAME WAY NOT REALLY WANTING TO HELP YOU GIVING U THE RUN AROUND.

Never use this company!!! I did not renew my contract but for just making sure I called them before the expire day to cancel the service, but them just ignore me.

They promised to call me back in 48 hours, 24 hours, 2 hours, half hour..., never called me back, I waited many days still can't get contact them, meantime they just charged me again!

This is sham as a company run by Chinese, no dignity at all! Sham of you-ItalkBB!

filthy company, avoid it, if you want to terminate your service, they will ask you to send back their f-box, even it was 15 years old, cost you 10 dollars or you will be charged $60.00.

Their cancellation department can never be reached. They don’t provide a direct number either. They tried to make you fail to cancel so they can charge your monthly fee again and again.

Forget about it if you want to port number out

this company take seconds to port number in but if you want to port number out, forgot about it. they will keep rejecting with non-sense reasons. they hired the 3rd party dealing with port number transfer however either they or the 3rd party does not maintain their database correctly. when you port number out, the request have big chance to be rejected because of mismatch of zip code and after dozens of calls to them and their 3rd party service provider, the 3rd party provider even does not have zip code on file or the correct zip code on file and have no rights to correct it per what they said...

Very dishonest company. I have been a customer for years because my parents use the phone service to call China.

In 2016 I signed up the TV package so my parents could watch Chinese New Year show. But they ended up not living with me so I wasted a full year of service. The following year Italkbb automatically renewed the TV service for me without notice. When I got notice of a $59 service charge from my credit card company I immediately called to cancel the service (the day after the service was auto renewed).

They tried every possible way to persuade me to stay. But I don't have time to watch TV and I never watch Chinese shows so I said no thanks. They then said I can return the box but they no longer allow customers to return device to their local stores. I had to ship it out of state at my own expense.

I talked to one of the supervisors after several failed calls. That's another long story. When I called to cancel the TV service they said the cancellation department was not available at the moment. I requested them to call me back to start the cancellation but they never did after I called three times and always gave me the *** of cancellation department not available.

I gave them my cell number to call. When they finally called many days later they still called my husband's cell number. And their rep did not speak a word of English so he just hang up when my husband tried to tell him to call my number. It took several weeks to finally get a return mailing label from them.

I have mailed back the box for more than two months now. They still have not refunded me the $59 yearly charge for the TV service. Another sneaky thing they do is you will not find any record or transaction history for TV service if you have phone service with them when you log into your account.

So you can't even track down how much and when they billed you for TV unless you look it up in your credit card bill. I won't be shocked if this company gets a class action suit in the near future.
