Online seller of pirated software

Updated by user Jan 01, 2017

In Dec. 2016, IT-DirectDeals twice offered to replace my copy of Photoshop CS, but I declined as the replacement would undoubtedly also be pirated. The first contact was over the phone; the offer was conditioned on my withdrawing my complaint with the New York State Attorney General.

Learn from my mistake. In November 2013, I purchased Adobe Photoshop CS6 from IT-DirectDeals.

A couple of months ago Adobe cancelled my serial number because they said it was invalid. It’s hard getting information from Adobe, but as near as I can tell something like this happened. Someone associated with IT-DirectDeals purchased an enterprise license for Photoshop CS. That person claimed it was for an educational institution.

IT-DirectDeals sells seats under this license, which ain’t right and Adobe doesn’t like. When I complained to IT-DirectDeals they offered to sell me another (almost certainly also pirated) copy of Photoshop CS 6 at a discounted price.
