Unauthorized charge on my credit card for 3 years

Bought Stopzilla in 2010 from IS3 and never renewed since it a very bad quality software. My credit card was charged for 3 years. On 2103 noticed the charge and complained but they are there to get your money.

Elevated with my credit card company, thinking that it will be solved but IS3 insisted on the charges. Never authorized them or open any accounts with them. Never downloaded or upgraded and IS3 knows that but keeps charging, pretending that annual renewal was selected (on "terms and conditions") and justifying by sending email before renewal which and if they really have sent would probably go to the JUNK folder and that's how hey continue to make money. SCAM ...

SCAM BE AWARE.

I'm sorry that you feel this way but it is called the "Constant Protection Program" and it is standard in the AntiVirus industry because people forget to renew their account manually and then they are vulnerable to infections and wonder why they have become infected while our product is on their computer. Rather than have the majority of our customers become vulnerable we decided it would be best to protect as many users as possible.

Unfortunately, a small few people become upset like yourself because it appears to be an unlawful charge on their account.

During the purchase process it is laid out in the terms and conditions that you are enrolled in the Constant Protection program and you can opt-out at any time, just call us and we can do that for you.

We also send an email and show nags for 30 days before expiration of your subscription. It is not our intention to deceive our customers but we feel this is the best way to ensure our customers are safe from malware and viruses.

Sorry for any misunderstanding you may have had about our methods of keeping customers protected.

I have called to cancel Stopzilla several times. Each year a representative states my account will be closed and no longer billed.

Guess what? I've been dealing with this issue since 2010.

When I call the company a representative informs me there is nothing in my account showing a cancellation. I hear the same promise each year.
