Terrible Claims Service - Homeowner's Policy

Dropped the ball immediately after our first call for claim service after major hail damage. We waited two weeks and called only to find they had never contacted the adjuster. We waited another week and a half for the adjuster to look at our house, and it took two and half weeks after that to get the estimate. Given all that, you can probably guess the estimate was lower than a very reputable contractor who looked at the house. For our experience, Iowa Mutual Insurance is great at one thing - collecting premiums. Bad Service. Convoluted Business Structure. You would be much better to shop anywhere else. We did and it reinforced everything we felt based on our experience. We can get much better coverage for the same premium. Iowa Mutual Insurance is not worth the headache or the expense.
