Bad experience - worst customer service
- - The sales department is described as the worst.
- - They do not prioritize customer satisfaction.
- - They are an adversary.
Terrible! Terrible!
The customer sales department is the worst. Be careful because they do not have customer satisfaction as a priority. They are an ADVERSARY.
Awful experience. Will never do business with them.eware
User's recommendation: Buyer beware
Bad Customer Service
- - Two Bose SoundDock parts sent to Invebo for repair; one was defective.
- - Postage of $22.50 to return the defective part; reimbursement denied.
Bad Customer Service. Very slow service.
Sent a defective product. I sent two parts for my two Bose Sound docks to Invebo for repair and upgrade. When they were returned to me one of parts was not fully functional. After telling them about the problem Invebo told to return the defective part for evaluation.
I shipped the defective part to them via USPS at a cost of $22.50 for postage. The defective part was returned to me in working order. I then sent them the receipt for the postage and requested a reimbursement of $22.50 for the postage that I paid to return the defective part to them. They have refused to reimburse me for my costs that was caused by no fault of my own but caused by Invebo sending me a defective product.
Had to go to Pay Pal to get resolved. Do not go to them, they are nothing but problems.
Repair doesn't do what it says, and I can't believe how rude this guy was!
- - Paid £99 for repair; dock came back with an old connector and can't charge, despite promises of USB charging; only option offered was a refund.
I paid £99 to have my SoundDock repaired and upgraded.
The website says:
...all docks will be fitted with a new docking connector...
and
"...also includes the USB charge upgrade modification to enable the dock to charge and play all iPhones and the newest Apple devices that require USB charging..."
This isn't true... it came back with an old-style connector (not iphone 5 / 6) and I can't charge my phone at all.
When I rang and explained, the guy said "well, we've sold hundreds of these and nobody has ever complained."
I asked if he'd like some customer feedback so he could understand why / how I had misunderstood, and his reply was "not really"
Maybe they do a good job... who knows.
But the service they sell is not the service they advertise, and I can't remember speaking to somebody so rude on the phone.
The only solution he offered was for me to package the dock and go to the post office (again) so that they could undo the repair, refund my money and send a broken dock back to me.
If you can find someone else to do the repair, I'd avoid these guys. I wouldn't recommend them.
- Fact that they gave the dock a wipe
- Guy on the phone is rude
- Fact that their website is misleading
Invebo upgrade a cash grab
- - Invebo parts fixed it at first.
- - I spent money on a Bluetooth upgrade.
- - Over a year later nothing works; support cut off after warranty info.
Needed to fix and upgrade my Bose dock. Got the new pieces from Invebo and then it all worked.
I even spent more on a bluetooth upgrade. Just over a year later, nothing works again. They initially offered some advice which didn't fix anything. They emailed me their warranty information which indicates that I'm pretty much screwed.
Then they cut off communication and I'm left with nothing. I can't do a review on their website as they choose what information they want posted and shown to people. So this is my warning. I'm out money and still have a Bose Sounddock that isn't working.
Be warned people.
- When it worked
- When i was left to figure it out myself
Preferred solution: Full refund
