Intrex Computers - Greensboro, NC CRASHED MY COMPUTER
My computer was locking up randomly so I took it to Intrex for an evaluation:
1. Was told eval would take 2 days; it took 8.
2. They didn't have proper equipment to test my quad video card (nVidia GPU) so they installed an ATI GPU card without installing ATI driver. Even a newbie knows you nVidia GPU WON'T run with an ATI driver.
3. CRASHED my computer and then blamed me for using Windows XP 64bit, saying it is unstable (funny, I'd been running it for several years!)
4. Never even apologized - but offered to upgrade to Win7 for an huge fee. And stated that MANY computers they evaluate crash because Windows XP is so unstable.
5. Intrex told me video card fans should only run when hot -WRONG! . Video card mfg tells me some newer cards will run with variable speed fans, but should ALWAYS run. They must always run to prevent overheating
DO NO USE INTREX ON BATTLEGROUND AVENUE IN GSO! THEY ARE NOT TECHNICALLY COMPETENT!
