I have had three interstate batteries go bad in less than three years, as soon as the weather starts to go slightly cold there goes another battery. so tired of having to carry a jump starter in my xterra. I guess I will have to see if optima batteries are worth the difference in price minus the 107 dollars for the jump starter

I don't like Interstate Batteries either but you have to be realistic here. You are putting that company on the spot because you are leaving town.

Any reputable battery supplier is going to do the same thing. THAT battery needded to be charged then checked. Maybe you have a key off drain in your vehicle that you are not aware of. If they just gave you another battery and it also failed on your trip you would have slammed the company anyway.

Autozone is a horrible place to go for a battery diagnosis. They'll charge a battery for 10 minute and condemn it it. They don't understand charging procedures.

Besides, they person behind the counter was flipping burgers last week. Educate yourself on batteries and you'll have a better experience.

Interstate Batteries in Dallas, Texas - Faith based company treats employees fairly NOT!!!!!!!

They may have a good product but they are a complete shame to their mission statement. They are liars and cheats. They say they care about their employees but the truth is they would rather fire you than deal with your problems. As long as you are healthy and always at work and willing to work extra hours for no compensation you are golden. If you get sick I mean real sick and you are under a doctors care and you have to miss work because of it look out because they are already plotting to fire you oh and don't become disabled you are screwed.
