Lifetime roof is a Lifetime decision!! Do your homework

Interlock Metal Roofing - Lifetime roof is a Lifetime decision!! Do your homework
I'm in WI but Interlock Roofing is nation wide and based out of Canada. I signed my contract in Aug 14th. The contract states the install will be in 8-12 weeks. Interlock left me a phone message Oct 3rd to call them back 800-987-****. I called them later that same day. No answer, so I left a message. Then I called them another 5 times over the next 4 weeks only to get their voicemail, so I left messages. They finally called me Nov 13th to schedule my install, which they said will be sometime in beginning of December. The Sales manager said they are not breaching contract because the contract says "these dates are weather-dependent and subject to change". I'm cancelling and they get to keep my 10% deposit (which is $2800). I offered to give them $800 for their time and just return me $2000!!! They said no. The sales manager said in some states (MN and OR) they keep 30%. I decided to start a website to help others become more aware of their lifetime decision. They estimated my roof at $28,000, to go over my existing asphalt shingles. During the sales negotiation, the roof estimate started at $35000 then went to $29,800 then went to $28,000 with more haggling. My roof size is 27 sq (sq=10'x10'). Its a very simple roof, with no gables, no steep slope, just 2 flat sides. They estimated tear-off to cost another $3780 (which is $140 per sq). By the way, The contract only has a "Total Contract Price" and does NOT have the size of my roof, nor an itemized list of costs per service or material.

DO NOT settle! Chase these guys through the courts.

Owner Mark Andrew Wenzel should be named. He is a "strawman" who will do everything he can to avoid having his name attached to any caselaw.

No our issues have not been resolved. The only thing that I can recommend is that you pursue them through the courts.

Mark Andrew Wenzel should be named as well. He is the owner who trains his staff to be "strawmen" on his behalf. Our information is the Wenzel will put you through the wringer but will eventually settle. Push back hard on your own without a lawyer.

file court action and eventually he will ask for arbitration or settlement.

You will need a 3rd. party (another roofing company) to inspect.

We purchased an Interlock Lifetime Roofing System in April 2022. They promised to install within 8 to 12 weeks.

But did not show up until near the end of September 2022, 8-weeks late. Basically once we signed the contract they ghosted us. The provided 3 start dates but did not show-up or call us to tell us that they weren't coming. We had to chase them.

4-days after they installed their product we had out 1st major leak. We have now had 3 major leaks in different areas in as many months. They scammed us into believing that they had to install a 2nd roof over our original deck for "air flow" the only thing that this did was provide an unvented air space between their 2nd roof and our original deck, our original deck is now saturated with water. They caused irreparable damage to our Cultured Stone Façade Chimney enclosure.

We had financed the supply and install their their financial provider. They allowed that contract to expire and our now suing us for none payment. Their install crew was absolute pigs.

They pissed almost everywhere and even *** on our property, We are till cleaning up cigarette butts, screws, nails, and scraps of metal that they discarded on our property. what is required is another class action against Interlock and their owner Mark Wenzel

@Porchia Nnf

Can you tell me if this issue was ever resolved. We are having issues with Interlock Roofing as we have dents all over our roof and other issues.
