Very unhappy with my brake job and their incompetent mechanics

Took my 2009 Toyota corolla s to have the brakes done and my oil changed. I took my car in because I had no brakes at all and they were grinding.

They looked at my brakes and told me I needed both my front and back brakes done. I needed both front and back pads and both rotors in the front. I have disc in the front and drum in the back. They quoted me $295 before they looked at my car.

After they looked at my car they told me it was going to be $900 for an oil change and brakes.

When they called me to tell me my car was done and ready to be picked up, I went to get it. I paid and drove it back to my house. On the way back to my house I heard the back brakes grinding. When I got home and checked my e brake, it went all the way up indicating I had no e brake at all.

Before I took it in to get the brakes done, my e brake worked like it should. After they worked on my brakes when I had my e brake pulled up it would roll without any hesitation.

I took it back to tell them that my back brakes were grinding and I had no e brake. They told me that they would look at it and it would not cost me anything. Chris told me they looked at it and there is nothing wrong with the brakes.

As far as my e brake, Chris' exact words to me were "That's the best we could do." I told him I do not have any e brake. He looked at me with a stupid look on his face and basically told me that they did the best job on my car.

When I back up, you can hear a grinding noise coming from my back breaks and now my rear struts make squeaking noises when going over bumps.

There was no noise before I took it into their shop. I am beyond pissed about the whole situation.

I told them I am going to take my car to Brake masters to see what they messed up on my car and they are going to pay Brake masters to repair my car.

Preferred solution: I want a price reduction and I want my brakes fixed right and my e-brake working like before I took it in.

User's recommendation: Do not take your car to this shop because they don't know what the *** they are doing.

Warranty doesn't cover Incompetent Employees

I have a warranty for a set of tires,every time I go in to have them rotated/balanced they offer they're "suggested services" which I don't need because I do all the required maintenance on my car except tires.Well saying no is all it takes for them to act like Spoiled Teenage Girls.The front drivers side tire has a leak and they told me"since we can't find what's wrong with it we can't replace it"Apparently a warranty doesn't cover incompetence via the employees.If you can't Honor a warranty then maybe it's not the field of work for you.

Custoner service, employee suck!!!!!

I was there to get an estimate for some tires and was at the counter waiting my turn and there was a lady that just sat sown after giving her information. A mechanic came through the door( his name was Chris Freeman) and asked for the keys and she politely replied with a smile''please be careful, that's my baby''.

She sat back down , as he walked through the door he mumbled clearly''I' ll be careful fat *** ,skip a F blank ing meal. As his co-worker clearly herd him with a smile.Yes she was a heavy set older lady but the Rude comments were uncalled for. I turned around and walked out. I nor my freinds nor family will EVER go there again.

Next stop Good Year corporate. Chris Freeman should be fired for his actions.
