No Integrity-

This company is the worst. Purchased two top of the line furnaces and air conditioners.

Good units- American Standard but Integrity has done a very poor job servicing the products. They want to nickel and dime you on service for their errors. Last time they even trashed my new carpeting but refused to reimburse for the carpet cleaners. Stay away- don't let the name fool you- they have no integrity.

Worthless Wanda is the office manager and knows absolutely nothing about their business or customer service. John Jordan is the owner.

No problem stealing your money. Took thousands but refused to reimburse 150.00

Lack of integrity

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Purchased a completely new HVAC system from Integrity and have had nothing but problems with leaking freon. We pay $200+ annually for their best warranty plan and have them out twice each year for inspections and service. That’s required to keep the warranty going, but we also want the system to work well, so it’s worth it to us. Unfortunately, that investment does not prevent problems almost every year.

Shortly after purchasing the system we had a freon problem. Despite the fact that we pay extra for emergency service and immediate response time, after 4-5 days of sweltering heat, Integrity finally showed up. Integrity techs couldn’t find the leak, so eventually and upon a return visit with other techs, they did a dye test which confirmed the leak. They supposedly fixed the leak and told us that we should not have any further problems.

2 weeks ago we had our Spring servicing and the tech told us that everything was fine, including freon. I specifically asked him if the freon was ok and reminded him that we had a previous freon problem, which he acknowledged and said that the freon level was fine. Unfortunately, 5 days ago the system was not cooling again so we called Integrity. With temps of 85-95, we asked for immediate service as promised in our warranty plan. They came out 5 days later and told us that we had a freon leak and now needed to pay them another $217 to add a leak sealant into the system. I told the tech that this was a repeated problem in the system, that they supposedly already repaired the freon issue, and he acknowledged that it shouldn’t be happening. However, he said that the notes on his Integrity computer pad “weren’t detailed enough” about the previous leaks, so if we didn’t pay him the extra $217 he threatened to leave and not do anything to get our system cooling. He refused to call the company for more details about the previous freon problems and work, but instead, started to walk out on us. Considering that we have 5 kids who have not slept in their 2nd floor beds for 5 nights due to the heat, and we had no other way to get cool air, we felt forced to pay the $217 for the leak stopping sealant. So, he supposedly added a leak sealant, got his payment of $217 and left.

Integrity seems to be a misnomer for this company. Valuing integrity suggests that they: (1) would provide timely service in accordance with our warranty plan; (2) would not hide behind an excuse of allegedly undetailed notes about acknowledged previous freon leaks, tests, repairs and promises, just to charge us another $217; (3) would not refuse to call Integrity’s office to obtain the company’s more detailed notes about the past freon leaks, but instead, threatened to leave a family who pays for the premium warranty service plan with a non-cooling system and no return date.

I called Integrity to try to get some assistance, but was only promised a return call. I hope it doesn’t take 4-5 days for that call to come, but at this point, it sure seems more like a lack of integrity, than valuing it.

No Integrity

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We had Integrity install a furnace upstairs. They vented it into our fireplace flue.

When we called fireplace companies because we wanted some work done on our chimney they were appalled to see that the emissions from our furnace were going into our flue a potentially deadly situation. They turned down the job of working on the chimney until the emissions were vented properly using a b vent that would be installed through our roof.

We had Integrity come out to review the situation and they denied it was hazardous and avoided any future calls from us. Their name is the opposite of what they are, they have NO integrity.

Integrity heating and cooling dont care about there custemers because if they did they would honor what they promise on there name integrity. Company pressures techs into selling because they get a persentage on what they sell and a low wage . Now dont be to hard on the tech .its the owner that pressures them .its not rite and i think they should stand up for whats rite . I like what i do .

Integrity Heating And Cooling Air Conditioner Installation Review from Chicago, Illinois

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had my central air installed by this company last year, a couple of days later, my air was not working, i called them a few times before finally someone came and fxed it. I've had nothing but trouble with their unit.

First as soon as they installed it. It broke n it took a few calls before they sent someone. A year later I'm having the problem again. I've called 3 times 3 and a half hours ago, I'm still waiting on a call back.

I regret giving them my business.

Their customer service really sucks! I won't recommend this company.

Had a new unit installed 4 days ago and already not working

We had Integrity install a new air unit 4 days ago and it is already broken down. I called the office and was told that they could get someone out in 2 days!

When I asked for someone to get out here and fix it right away because of sweltering heat and we have 3 kids in the house I was told "It is only 2 days and we are really busy"

I am not asking them to come repair an old unit.

This is a brand new unit they just installed 4 days ago!!

This is terrible service and will never use them again!

Paid $266. Only to have furnace work worse

Called Integrity Heating for a repair of an erratic furnace ignition. After having the technician out, the furnace worked worse.

He said I needed a part, and guaranteed me it was going to solve the problem because his meter told him so, even though he wiggled the meter the whole time to get a goofy reading. Replacing the part didn't help the problem, and he said I'd need another part, the circuit board, because that is the only other thing it could be, quoting me over $700. I said I needed to look into it. Talked with the owner of the company, complaining I should get something credited because I got no help from them, and the furnace was having more problems.

The owner agreed with the tech, that I needed a control board. I found the part on line, ordered it and had someone else put it in for much less money, only to find out their problem solving of the circuit board still wasn't the problem. Thank goodness I didn't pay them the $700. All it ended up needing was a slight adjustment of the igniter and it is lighting and running great.

I'm out a lot of money because of their poor diagnosis all they know how to do is replace parts, and not trouble shoot. Would not recommend them for a repair.

Integrity has no integrity

Integrity Heating and Coling of Orland Park Illinois runs ads thru the mail for a furance/ central air combo for 1,995.00, with other perks in the deal. I had a salesman come out to measure my furance area, for the ductwork, but he pulled a bait and switch on me, trying to sell me three other options that were two to three times higher than what they advertised.

I called the Better Business Bureau on them but they denied this claim of bait and switch, even though I have the paperwork on those other estimates.

Not once did the saleman even offer what I had on the coupon. I asked to be removed from their mailing but I still received mailings from them and, ironically, the same offer was mailed to me.

I'm going to keep this as clean as possible as I am in sales as well. First of all, you are NEVER going to get the advertised price.

Every advertisement you receive from ANY company is barebones basic material. Secondly, a sales rep is only a PAWN in ANY company. He or she does not have the power to remove you from a mailing list. What you need to go is get quotes from 5 different companies before making any decision, before you go on and write reviews.

I am trying this company out tomorrow for a quote, and I will post my personal review on here within 24 hours. --SG
