Toco Warranty - Will Lie to get you to Accept Warranyt
When I was first approached by Mathew, at Toco Warranty, I asked very specific questions regarding this warranty and what was covered. All my questions asked were answered with a "Yes", the warranty would cover all of things I was asking specific questions about, and I asked "VERY SPECIFIC" questions, and when I took the car in for repairs...they refused to cover "ANYTHING". Toco Sales people are liars and will agree with whatever questions you ask just to get you to agree to buy the warranty...do not get duped, if you have this warranty..DUMP IT, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!!!!!

Matthew from ToCo Warranty responding to this complaint:
We are trained to go over, in detail, all of our coverage options with our customers. So, I was very concerned to hear about this complaint. Since all of our calls are recorded, I had my supervisor and his supervisor listen to the call verifying that I was very clear with the customer on what exactly was covered.
When the original sale is made, we transfer the customer to our verification department to make sure the customer understands everything. We are also required to make a 7 day followup call to make sure the customer has understood the terms and conditions of the policy. I called the customer at that time and again asked if they received all the materials, looked them over and if there were any additional questions. I was told there weren't. This call was also recorded.
We at TOCO Warranty pride ourselves on our honesty and customer satisfaction. I also placed a conference call with the mechanic and the customer to see if there was a resolution. Unfortunately, the type of work that needed to be done wasn’t covered, as clearly stated in the Coverage package.
I'm not sure about your experience, but I've worked with these guys before and the extent to which they make sure you have ALL the information is outstanding. They tell you the coverage several times, then they have their "verification" (or whatever it's called)department read it thoroughly again...AND they even tell you specifically to read a certain part of the contract to re-familiarize yourself with it when you get it.
THEN they call you a week later and confirm EVERYTHING AGAIN!!!
I have never felt so comfortable with a company's transparency. My only responsibility was to listen and read....I can handle that.
Who has ever come to defend a company in real life? If things are going smoothly with your service provider you are not googling reviews about them because your experience has been amazing! The bottom line is these companies are LEGALLY scamming you.....if you can handle that.......you deserved to be SCAMMED
