About a year ago I was going through my email and the particular issue at that time seemed to indicate the possibility of having been "hacked". I looked through Google to see how I might be able to contact msn and resolve the problem. The "msn" link that I was taken to was "Instageeks". They scrutinized my pc, advised me that I had been "hacked", had a Trojan virus and this would also affect my cell phones. They happened to have a "program" that would resolve this for $400.00. I want to say it was called "Ad-Block". After my initial shock and fear for the worst, I agreed to the program being installed. Later, giving the matter a lot of thought, I checked "Ad-Block" or whatever the program was. It turns out that particular program that they SOLD me was available via the internet free of charge. Fortunately I was able to get a full refund within the 30 day warranty. Don't get scammed! I know it can be an embarrassing situation to admit to being duped.

My daughter was trying to fix her computer. She called Comcast and they connected her to these guys. After a long time of explaining what he would do, and sending me to a Amazon website where he showed me a product he wanted me to buy, I decided to check the company out on the internet. The reviews from BBB and others were pretty bad, so I decided not to buy the service offered. The Tech, Steve, then said if I didn't want the service he asked for my permission to *** microsoft software from my comuter. I said NO! I do not give you that permission. He then proceeded to take it off anyway. My screen went black. I told him to restore anything he had taken off. He refused. From there I asked for his supervisor. He said no again. Someone came on named Harry who said his job was to check on computers and customer satisfaction. At all times I was speaking to someone with and Indian accent. I explained what had happened. He seemed to think I still wanted them to "fix" my computer. I sad no and explained why. I said if he was really interested in what was going on to check the recorded conversation and see how badly I was treated. He said he would but still tried to get me to buy their product! When I said no again, he promptly hung up. a few seconds later I go another call from Steve who said he was going to f...k up my computer so bad and my daughters computer too. At this point I have no idea what he has done to my desktop. I am sending this via my laptop. I also believe he lied to me when he said that BBB was themselves, actually recording the conversation. If so I can't help but bekieve theiir rating will from from a D- to an F. STAY AWAY from these guys!

I don't believe I was charged anything, but if I was I want a refund, Steve should be fired, and if I have any problems with my computer, I will presume it is because Steve made it happen. But I'm not sure how I could ever trust you to fix it.
