Free 3 day 2 night stay at a hotel

50 dollar deposit required. Limited options on where and when to stay.

The free 3 days and 2 night were going to cost us 340 dollars for the free stay. My wife called the hotel and we could book the same weekend on our own for 380 dollars FREE, NOT LIKELY. It is a scan and fraud. We declined their free trip.

WE have advised Global T ravel who we are very pleased with to stop using CUG Production because they do not offer what they are advertising.

Unfortunately they are not the only company that works this way. Just another case of not forfilling your obligation to your promotion.

Travel Incentive Fraud and Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Some time ago (2014 May) we paid the 'fees' for a 'free' cruise and 'free' airfares. They were never delivered. Infinity claimed the e-mails they sent were bounced. Odd how the original confirmation e-mails made it through fine.

In May (2015) we requested, in writing, a full refund. After many follow-up calls we were given the excuse that the refund request was lost during their computer upgrades, but a check would be sent soon. Several calls later we were told that the check would be sent out that week. (Note: each of these calls were a week or two apart.) Still some calls later, we were told that the 'check was in the mail. If you don't get it, call back in six weeks.' This was now October.

Six weeks later (2015 Dec), still no refund. Called again. This excuse this time was 'Oh, you just missed this week's check drafting. It'll go out next week.' Refused to connect to a supervisor with the excuse, 'we don't transfer calls out of the center.' Then hung up. Called back multiple times and was transferred to a busy signal. Eventually, they took the call-center service offline with the message 'We are unable to answer your calls at this time due to special circumstances.' Gee, they must get a lot of 'special circumstances' to have such a message ready to go.

Called back intermittently until the call center was back. Same ethics-less operator (obviously a small one-pony company) who once again refused to connect me with a supervisor, refused to send the refund, and hung up. Interestingly, the call center was back offline for 'special circumstances' again shortly afterwards.

There are many complaints filed against this group at http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/infinity%20incentive%20group

Run , don't walk, from Infinity Incentive

After 6 months of dealing with this company, with inumerable restrictions on use of this' travel award', I was offered 2 airline tickets. Oh, yeah, taxes/fees/surcharges are over $300/ticket.

Unfortunately, suckers (I mean patrons) are led to deal with this group with no prior chance to evaluate. After 20+ phone calls, 20+ emails, and 3 consultations with my attorney I'm turning down this 'award'. This was a great loss in time , money, effort.

They also require that you agree to settle any disputes in Arizona- difficult if you live anywhere else in the world. Do not try to use these awards under any circumstance.

Cruise offer is Fraud/Scam for more money

Updated by user Oct 25, 2013

10.25.13 Update to the original complaint. To date, IIG has not made good on their certificate.

I have contacted the timeshare that uses IIG as their incentive vendor and now I am getting runaround by them as well.

GEO Holiday is also appearing as a scam organization. Truly disappointing by both organizations.

Original review Sep 24, 2013

I received an offer for a 7 day cruise from a timeshare presentation I attended. I read the fine print, followed all the instructions and time frames that were laid out. Clearly this company looks for every opportunity to void the offers to customers.

My offer was for an upper/lower berth room. I am currently trying to redeem the certificate for that room, which they offered me but have since found out that the room is not available. In order for me to set foot on the boat and redeem my certificate I have to pay an "upgrade fee" for an inside state room or better at a cost of $850+ PLUS the balance of taxes and fees owed on top of the $100 required deposit.

Carnival is offering directly to customers online the same deal for the same price so it is actually more expensive to redeem you trip with IIG than it is to book directly with the cruise line. This organization is dishonest and does not follow their own rules. An ethical organization would provide AT A MINIMUM any available room for no upgrade fee to at least get their customer on the ship. Clearly I am not dealing with an ethical organization.

I am currently dealing with the customer service rep and am being told that my account is now on hold because I didn't respond immediately and provide my CREDIT CARD INFO AND PAYMENT for the "upgraded" room.

I expect Infinity Incentive Group to fulfill their obligation.

I am going to post on all social media avenues to spread the word about this organization until they fulfill the terms of the offer they presented, or better it. I am also going to report this organization as fraudulent to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and the AZ Attorney General.

Buyer be ware.

i had the same issue with iig. they offered free trip to bahamas after answering a survey.

told i was to get an email confirmation but did not get any. now, my prob is i gave them my card details.

can someone pls help? ive already phoned my bank and told them those are unauthorized transaction but still am worried

Similar story. This is a highly disreputable company that has no business being business in the United States. I would rank it right up there with the Nigerian email scams that are so common.

We are in the process of moving away from signing up for our free cruise, especially after reading all the fraud postings about the company. I'm curious to know if the vacation club company who works with IIG had any responsibility in this.
