I attended a presentation at a Hotel in Phoenix to hear this emotional plea to save me as a Timeshare Owner.
“Buckle up” the cost of maintaining your Timeshare could double in the next three to five years, says Michael Morales, the pitchman for this scam. He continues; “Thank goodness we have an opportunity to save you from this unfair fate put upon you by the Timeshare Developers".
After an hour and a half of him telling you how the “industry” is screwing the Timeshare Owners he turns right around and asks you to buy into a Travel Club for the Low-Low Price of $10,900 today. Regular Price is $16,900.
But wait – There’s More! If you do it today and DO NOT take the FREE Trip, for two, to Cancun, we’ll discount the price by $2000.00!
Oh and since you already own a Timeshare we’ll give you another $1000 off as a; “We’re sorry you own Timeshare Discount".
Oh, you don’t like that low discount price…wait I think we have a Deal that is in DISTRESS. That means that you could pick up where someone else could not make their payment(s) for only $5400…Oh and if you want to pay in Cash we’ll give you another $500 off.
Now you’re down to $4900 of your hard earned money to buy “AIR” with a $200 per year annual fee. Plus you still have to pay for the accommodations at a discount rate (???). Good luck with that. What a Deal! Sign me up!
You hypocritical thieving crook, they should arrest you just for showing up to attempt this swindle.
If your first clue: “We’re only here for a few days and then we’re off to…” does not resonate with you then ask this obvious question: “Where is your permit to do this type of business in this state?” Whoops! Wrong question for them. Why? Because they DON’T HAVE ONE that’s why.

I know this company through a friend of mine and I know for a fact that this report is written by a x employee who was fired by said friend. The company does not rip people off and if you think your timeshare was the a good investment and you love to travel, IDL is a company that advocates travel and can show you how to get travel at cost.
It still remains a fact that the timeshare industry is upside down and sooo many people have seen a increase in thier maintenance fees and there ARE hundreds of thousands of people not paying the maintenance fee and trying to get out. The person who wrote this is a disgruntled employee who is misrepresenting the price change. According to the one person I talked to who is a member and now saves thousands with the difference between their Timeshares(She hated her timeshare because she says they were ripping her off!)and the maintenance fee and what they get into the SAME condos at cost is. I also want everyone reading this report to think about somthing....If IDL was such a scam and they are collecting thousands of dollars from thousands unsuspecting people dont you think there would be more then one report!!!!!!
Furthermore don't listen to the *** and liar that wrote the bad review for one simple fact.....HE IS TRYING TO CONVINCE YOU KEEPING YOUR TIMESHARE IS A GOOD CHOICE WHAAAAAAAAAAT????????? look at the secondary market like tug2.com and many others and you will see as I did,the hundreds of thousands of people that will give you their timeshare for a penny or FREE!!!!! WHY else would they give them away THINK ABOUT IT!!!! They hate there timeshare DUHHHHHHHH!
Timeshare is a huge HUGE Huge rippoff LOOK IT UP YOURSELF...instead of listening to the person who wrote that bad review. My friend explained all the price drops are the same for EVERYONE and a distress is real for only the people who qualify
IDL-LLC and especially Morales are all over the internet - NOT IN A GOOD WAY!! Don't get fooled, and don't cut him any slack.
I, too had a recent hearing and conversation with Michael. I didn't buy either.
All his costs numbers (for timeshare ownership) were inflated from the start, so for a group of pre-selected (partially based on being paid up with your timeshare fees) owners, this should have been a clue.
One of his main points seemed to be "the timeshare has to go!" Then he offered to take the dirty thing off our hands!! Why? I thought: We really don't know how far our timeshare contracts tie us down with "assessments" and how fast or much maintainence fees can climb.
And there are always those who tend to buy when everyone else is selling and come out smelling like a rose.
So this was an education that has driven me back to look in my contract for information on this stuff. Check yours out too.
Grzsmith I was at one of IDLs meeting last april ...where it was repeated again and again by the same gentleman Michael that they didn't want our Timeshare but could help if we wanted to get out and only if we wanted out.. and if we were on the fence then to keep the Timeshare.
I felt the way this company treated me and my wife was exceptional and really did know what they are talking about and they knew the same thing we have know for years and that's the simple fact that our timeshare was not only useless but was costing us hundreds more in maintenance then what the bloated developer was renting it to the general public for. My wife and I are now happy members and Thank God we are finally out of our Timeshare and the best part is...
we used a unit last month for$238 that 2 years ago we had spent almost a total of $1400 dollars between the exchange and the maintenance.
