The new location is great inside of the building is looking good. The outside is scheduled for renovation later this summer.

As for the quality of work hair stylists They are incrediblely awesome!

Been to Indulge many times and never had a problem. The staff is very professional and polite, they do a great job.

Wow, really.... Who has this much time on their hands to write a fake review.

Indulge is an awesome salon! if I didn't live so far away, I'd be back regularly.

Calypso has rude people that work there.

Calyspo is the worst salon. I think they all drink on the job. There is a bar right across the road from them.

Calypso is the worst salon to work for. The new owner corrine bush is rude and just fired all of her staff.

I would not recommend this salon at all. If you live in Midland go somewhere else.

The pot calling the kettle black...Marcelo is at it again huh? Why does he think anyone believes someone drives from ANN ARBOR to a salon in Midland?

He's a piece of work. Look up the police reports mentioned below. His physical assault on a WOMAN and his famed barfight/DUI stylist are public records.

Look at how many of his stylists left recently. There's a good reason for that....HIM!

The original post is no surprise and nothing new. This person chooses to use fake profiles to attack others that have successful businesses instead of focusing on improving his failing one.

This is not the first hateful review hes posted nor will it be his last. When not writing complete fabrications about others or ridiculous responses to his own posts he is writing positive reviews about his salon which leaves any feedback unreliable and defeats the whole purpose of consumers having the opportunity to offer honest opinions. He has already run one salon into the dirt and is working on running this one in as well. His salon is not only over priced but the increasingly dirty salon has and may still use expired products on clients.

Equipment is broken that makes for a less then enjoyable experience for many clients and even with this he still charges them the inflated prices. The obvious attempt to defame Indulge Salon and Spa is undoubtedly the result of him losing the talented, well respected and liked staff that refused to offer their clients sub-par service at a deteriorating salon and instead of taking responsibility for being such a miserable salon owner he has lashed out at the owner of a salon that sets the bar high. The poor moral standards are displayed in and outside of the salon. His physical attack on a former female employee can be verified by police reports, his firing of employees due to his unstable mood swings, he thought nothing of perjuring himself at multiple unemployment hearings, he has cancelled employees insurance without telling them but conveniently forgot to stop taking the money out of their checks and so much more.

He surrounds himself with employees that have the same love for the bottle he seems to have which is evident in the bar fights or DUI's that litter our newspapers. Unfortunately since the name he goes by is not his birth given name many clients do not know what kind of owner they are giving their money too and the business they are supporting because the police reports use his birth name. In closing having been a client at multiple salons in the area through the years I finally found exactly what I and surely many others are looking for at Indulge Salon and Spa. A very classy establishment from top to bottom and inside out.

Michelle takes great pride in her salon and staff and that is proven by the off hours blood and sweat her and her husband are seen putting into that salon on a daily basis. It is obvious that her goal is to see clients and her team happy and not driven only to make a buck.

This is a good Christian woman that has passion for the Industry and loves her business and it shows. So when reading these hate driven phony reviews, please keep in mind the character of the person that's driving this hate train.

This sounds like the work of Mr. Anonymous himself, or JM or whatever phony name he uses to belittle competition.

Maybe he should look in the mirror and see how many people left his dump. :grin

I completely disagree with that post about her as the original post. Personal relationships are just that your own personal business, and not to be broadcasted on the Internet.

Everything is geared towards the customer! Maybe take a trip back and u will see that the issues may have been nothing but yourself.

I don't think this is a former employee. I am a former client & agree with the comment.

M. is rude & unprofessional & she's a key reason why I left the salon.

Perhaps the positive anonymous comments are from M. herself...

Comments like this do not need to be posted on the internet. This website is not for an "anonymous" employee to release their anger and frustrations that they would never have the ability to say to someone's face.

Personally - Michelle is the most selfless manager-boss. She does anything and everything for her staff and doesn't request anything but happy clients in return. Michelle has been a very successful business owner in Midland for years and has always had a full clientele. She is constantly updating the salon for the customer, learning new techniques for the customer and doing new promotions for the customers.

Disregard this ill and slanderous statement of her and give Indulge a try! You will never go anywhere else!

This posting is obviously from a former employee with a grudge who no longer works for this beautiful salon. My own experience is that Michelle is a wonderful and creative stylist.

I was in Midland for a wedding 3 years ago and had not had the chance to have my hair done. One of the bridesmaid suggested Indulge which was on the other side of town so I gave it a try as a walk-in. I was nervous going to a new stylist but after Michelle did my hair for the first time I loved it. She really took great care with styling my hair…awesome style!

I was so impressed with Michelle and her staff that I had returned for highlight and color which had never looked so good in my life. She has changed the look of my hair since then where I now receive lots of compliments. People I know and don’t know ask where I got my hair cut. They cringe when I mention it is 83 miles away but worth the drive every 6-8 weeks when I go in.

I have lived in Lansing for 25 years but prefer Indulge Salon where an owner/stylist takes pride to be the best of everything! :)

I totally beg to differ on this comment! Michelle is an awesome stylist who puts her clients first and does an outstanding job of running this salon.

I only ever here wonderful responses when her clients leave her chair, thats why she is booked out for weeks or possibly months at a time!Everything she does to that salon is for her staff and staff alone!

Sounds like there is a personal issue at hand that has nothing to do with the salon or her for that matter. This comment is totally unacceptable.
