Insufficient Services

AI Highlights
  • - Two renewal payments were accepted; only one needed.
  • - Insufficient funds letter suspended license and registration; must pay both 239.70.

Where do I begin? First off the BMV accepted not one but two payments for my registration renewal.

I only needed one. I received both in the mail a day apart from the other. Then 11 days later, I received a letter of insufficient funds which ultimately suspended my license and registration. Of course I get pulled over a day after they were suspended and I had no idea.

I have been trying to get someone on the ohone for 5 days now. Sitting on hold and them being hung up on multiple times. Makes for a very unhappy customer, not good customer service at all. Finally someone answered today.

Just to tell me I have to pay for both and then get a refund for one. Also have to pay both, totalling 239.70, before they reinstate my license or registration. I had bank fees as well so I am in *** here. Like Really!?

This iscrazy! Why would I want to pay for two in the first place? How is this even my problem? Oh that's right, government offices can basically say *** your screwed!!

W3 just have to suck it up I guess. That's what I have gathered in my 43 years. They make it seem like they are helping, when in reality they already have plans on making your life a living *** Thanks alot ya freaking dopes. You are the problem with the world today!

Lying two faced people trying to get a one up on another. Shame on you all!

Loss:
$400
Pros:
  • Get your license and registration
Cons:
  • Only place you can get licensed or registered

Preferred solution: Answers and knowledge. Help others be aware.

User's recommendation: Be aware that any government office will always make it your fault and you will have to pay an unruly amount to get back on top.

"I received both in the mail" Translation: I was stupid and sent two checks in for the same thing. I don't know how to manage my checkbook (who sends checks anymore) and overdrew my account.

I now want to blame someone other than myself for my foolishness. Listen pops, you were stupid.

Admit it and move on. Next year, act like you're in the 21st Century and renew online.

  • - Customer service isn’t available; no simple online option.

I want to speak with a real person. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday and they expect me to be able to take time off from work.

No one is available on the weekends. You call customer service and they arent available. All I have is a simple question and theres not an option on the website. Way to take peoples personal lives into consideration!

Such a money grab system and I cant even get an answer. The DMV is a legal scam
