Month 2- spam doubled, maybe more. Contacted company, 2 replies:

Thank you for getting in touch. By law, companies are required to comply with data removal requests within specific timeframes, 30 days under GDPR and PIPEDA, and 45 days under CCPA. Many organizations are able to respond much faster, often within the first 12 weeks, thanks to efficient systems or automation.
Others may take closer to the full timeframe, but compliance is mandatory. Bla, bla, bla, we have your money.

I signed for 1 year of family data broker cleaning after reading the promotion on Cyberguy (Not his fault!). The first 30 days (the warranty period) I noticed no change.
'This should be expected as a broker is not in a hurry', I thought. After the second month, the phone and email spams doubled, or even more. I inquired with Incogni and was given the blow off :

I have all my records of the attempts to stop this service, while they just kept charging me every month. Incogni is a company of scammers claiming to help you keep you safe online.

... initiated a contract with Incogni without realizing that Surfshark and Incogni are one and the same.
My hope is to combine the accounts and receive a refund from Incogni. How am I to achieve this simple change?

I signed up for Incogni service. They happily took my money, but the next day, they geofenced me from accessing their website.
I am a US citizen residing in the Philippines, and even when using a VPN service, their website blocks me. How can I resolve this?
Just connect to their website for support... it's a real Catch-22.

scripts given to youtuber Using the data of it has increased by 40% is a lot scarier than the percentage of people vs the percentage of people who aren't... its important how you share data...
those percentages may be correct but if you compare them to affected vs non-affected. 40% more people affected doesn't mean much when you don't know the base number... its 9%, that's 1/10 nearly. The 40% increase, I don't know if 9% is before or after this random study that's not quoted anywhere...
but let's say 9% was before... so now its 13% yeah that's growing, but that's a LOT LESS scary than saying 40% increase...
PLEASE USE statistics and percentages that people can connect with. Fearmongering your AD's is not right

I’m unable to Activate my Account
I purchased a subscription to Surfshark last month, and gave them my email address, and paid, and I thought that was it. But then they started sending me emails telling me I HAD TO ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT to have it begin working.
So I agreed, and tapped on Activate, and it asked again for my email address, which I typed in, and then asked for a Secure Password. So I typed in my Password, and it would NOT ACCEPT IT, saying the Password was not authorized. So I typed in another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and got the same response, PASSWORD NOT ACCEPTED, password not authorized. So I just WANT OUT OF THIS TECH INSANITY NIGHTMARE, and want to CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION TO SURFSHARK, AND WANT A FULL REFUND !
And I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THAT DONE.
I asked for a phone number so I could TALK TO A HUMAN BEING, but was told your company has NO PHONE NUMBERS. So PLEASE, just Cancel Me Out, and send me an email telling me I am NOW FREE OF THIS NIGHTMARE !

I am unable to open my dashboard because I am not receiving my 6-digit passcode on my iphone. I am unable to add incogni to my Google authenticator and am unsuccessful in finding online help.
Also, I cannot find my secret incogni code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
User's recommendation: Incognit did respond fairly quickly to my email. I had to jump through a couple of hoops to prove that I had an account. I am finally able to access my dashboard but they never were able to point me to an app for 2FA.
I think they had my LinkedIn account deleted which got rid of decades of professional contacts
