INC 500/5000 list is fake
We found out that INC.com and their 500/5000 list is not based on accurate information. When a business applies they can post any sales figures they want and the information is only needed to be corroberated by a "financial" person in the company. We found this out when a transportation company located in Memphis, TN (a broker) has been falsifying sales to make the list. Inc was contacted by us and notified that this was happening and that they should request tax documents to validate the sales figures. Inc did not and this company is on the Inc 500/5000 list again. IF YOU WANT TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS AND SOUND BIGGER THAN YOU ARE, USE INC.COM TO DO IT. THEY WILL NOT CHECK YOUR INFORMATION AND SINCE THEY ALLOW FAKED DATA TO BE ON THE LIST HOW MANY OTHER BUSINESSES ON THERE ARE PRETENDING TO BE BIGGER THAN THEY REALLY ARE?

I came across this post as I researched the magazine's criteria for their nominees. I recently attended this educational seminar by a company listed on the 500 for being the #1 educational real state company in America and with that validation I bought into their program just to find out they were a HUGE SCAM!
I am furious at the scammers "educational company", but even more so at the INC 500 magazine because they allow HUGE SCAMMERS to get away with their crimes.
I feel compelled to call the magzine a scam as well. I'm very disappointed.
