Shameless company

After they moved warehouse to East Coast, their system totally froze, and *** up all of my orders since last year. The two blu rays I placed an order were neglected for a whole month due to their system glitch. I called the company, and I was told to reorder them again online. But then the prices were higher. They promised to give me the credit, but that was never done. So I was totally exhausted with this trash company whose customer service was horrifying, and cancelled the entire order via email, and purchased from other store. But lo and behold, they shipped it despite my cancellation request. The only way to get a full refund was to not to accept the shipment via USPS. I finally got a full credit back one month later. What a nightmare story it was. The second time I placed an order for a CD had the same treatment. I called twice already dealing with disgusting customer service. They told me that the order will be pushed through on the same day I called. Nothing happened after 48 hours. I called it again, but no avail.

Screwed 4 times!

Import Cd is really and extension of SuperD music, with warehouse located in Irvine and sales office located in Woodland. We were send the wrong version of a title on Ebay and our money was tied up for over 50 days. We also were shorted product 3 times in orders. We put in a claim thru Paypal to notify them because they would not respond over 7 different emails. The failed to respond again but this time, when we tried to order some other imports, the immediately refunded our money because they thing WE are thieves. Well SUPER D, IMPORT CD and Deep Sea Discount are all in one and they are the thieves. Their prices seem good but they cannot COUNT and cannot fill over 50% of all orders. STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY FORM THIS PLACE

I had to pay to return item(s) damaged from shipment. They did not use a box to ship, rather two cardboard panels glued together, similar to BestBuy. They claim to have never received the package and now will not respond to any communications. They have decent prices but in the end you'll end up paying more because of the additional cost associated with doing business with them. Bottom line is that they were the cause of the problem and lie and cheat to avoid resolving it. This second paragraph was necessary only to fulfill the one hundred word requirement for posting.

Didn't Receive Item

I never received the item. When I tried to get information they weren't timely and didn't say what was going on. After a week or so of trying to communicate with them, they said they received the item and are giving me a refund. NO help. NO item I bought got to me a month and a half later (and I needed it around now because I'm in the middle of moving locations and the previous address I entered wouldn't have been correct to ship the item anymore). Bad customer support and a failed transaction. Won't ever buy from here again.

Defective DVD/ No Response ImportCDs.com

Several months ago I ordered a DVD concert video from ImportCDs.com via Amazon.com. The DVD is defective and won't play. It plays about two-thirds through and then returns to the main menu and did so the first time I played it. I tried playing it on different DVDs and it did the same thing. I refuse to send the DVD back unless I get a response from the company acknowledging my complaint. They won't acknowledge the complaint. On their web site I believe they state it will be at least 24-hours before they can respond. I waited. And waited. So, I sent second and third e-mails all appropriately spaced apart to give them the benefit of the doubt. No response. Ever. I wrote a negative review on Amazon as well. So, don't bother buying from Import CD Specialists, 17822 Gillette Ave. #A, Irvine, CA, 92614. In the meantime I'm stuck with a DVD that won't play to the end.

This company should be called RIP OFF CD's, they do not ship the products, and Amazon does nothing and basically tells you tough. Amazon and IMPORTCD"S should both be sued!!

I purchased last week on Thursday 8/2/2010. Was told they shipped on 8/5 and today is 8/14 and is still waiting on my cd.

Mind you, I live in Bronx, NY and they're located in California?? Normally, any shipment from CA to NY is within 4 to 5 days or shorter.

My question is did they really have the cd in stock when I purchased or they just another MOviemars that orders what was purchased and then ship to customers after they purchased the item. :(

I had a similar experience. I paid for expedited shipping, only to be given the standard shipping.

Because of this I was the only person that did not have a gift at my brothers graduation party(always fun to be that person...).

I messaged them 4 times through Amazon, twice from their official site and even wrote a letter of complaint to their physical location. In the end I filed a claim with Amazon because the item never did arrive and they never did return any of my contact attempts.

I've done business with Import CDs on many occasions with no problems. Always shipped the correct item promptly. Sorry this didn't happen with you.
