Mis sold warrenty and absolutly no after care
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY
Damaged car. Misadvised.
Honestly at this point would give zero stars and would return the car if I had no part ex’d mine in. Made the mistake of test driving a car in the rain and wrongfully assuming I was not buying from a place that sells subpar cars.
Second mistake. Took an extremely long time to process the car sale following a hard sell of the RAC warranty and Gardx treatment. Finally left with my new car at 6.45pm, unfortunately still raining. I arrived at 9.30am.
Drove home 40 miles. Came out this morning to the car now it is light and dry to find at least 3 chips/ marks on the screen, a scuff on the front bumper, clearly been knocked as front light is out of alignment slightly. Attempted to speak to Bristol dealership to resolve. Surely they would want to sort out the issues.
Nope.... they were aware of the main chip but didn’t bother to tell me as it was “fixed” but if I was unhappy to claim against my insurance, why would I claim against my insurance for damage that was already in place, I wouldn’t have chipped the screen in 3 places on a 40 mile journey despite the insistence of the manager of the Bristol branch. Car was misadvertised as having park assist so why I was foolish enough to think they would acknowledge existing damage is naive of me it would seem. The only decent member of staff was Jon the handover manager who was left to deal with all processing issues himself, he is new and was short staffed but no one bothered to help him to avoid delaying customers.
He also had to rectify the other parts of misadvice regarding the warranty. A new windscreen would have resolved my complaint as I would live with the scuff on the front bumper but this is apparently absurd to expect that as I damaged the screen in 3 places all in an hours drive home.
Moral of the story do not trust a word they say or buy from them. Wish I had gone to see the other 3 cars I had lined up.

Preferred solution: New windscreen and front damage fixed
Worst Car Company Ever
Update! Unsurprisingly i never heard from Imperial Cars following my review. Its interesting to note that all the review centres clearly sponsored/paid for by Imperial Car Supermarkets give glowing reviews whereas independents show the real situation!!!
It had not been cleaned or prepared and there was even mud on the back seats. As i'd travelled so far and the salesman was apologetic I decided to take it for a test drive as it was the spec I had been after. Two mins into the journey we were forced to return to the branch as the tyre indicator was showing low pressure. All four tyres had to be inflated!!
I liked the car but was unable to take it for a drive about 60mph as the salesman told me they did not have insurance to take it onto the Motorway. (this was relevant later). I decided to buy the car provided it was valeted. The garage agreed and sent it to the inhouse cleaner.
It came back an hour later with the mud still on the back seats. Clearly the salesman was embarrassed so sent it back again. He apologised to me saying the cleaner told him they had no cleaning solution???. It came back again and was still not properly valeted but as I'd travelled so far and by this time it was about 3pm I agreed to take it.
Id been there hours by that point. I paid and drove it away sometime after 4, but as it was rush hour I could not get above 60mph until about 40 miles or so from the garage. At 70mph the whole car began to vibrate so violently I can only liken it to a badly levelled washing machine on spin. The front passenger seat was vibrating so badly you could see it shaking.
I had to continue my journey at 55mph and it took me 7hrs to get home. Contact with the garage that day and the following day, me using my own time and effort showed the telemetry or the car and the wheel balancing was all out. Bizarrely when the car was on the ramps at my local Kwik Fit, there was fresh tyre soap on the inside of all the tyres which had barely 3mm of tread on them?? They had obviously been replaced which the garage denied all knowledge of.
I wrote a scathing review at the time and the manager of the garage rang me apologising profusely stating this was not the image their garage wanted to project. He offered me access to their trade account for tyre replacement for the life of my ownership of the car (obv I would pay for the tyres but would get them cheaper) so I was pretty happy with that and his apology. Well I now need new tyres and have spent three weeks trying to get Imperial Cars to honour their promise all to no avail. Ive spoken to countless people and emailed their customer car team who profess to get back to you within 48-72hrs...well two weeks later Im still waiting!!!
No one returns calls and now they've had my nearly 24,000 pounds their obviously not bothered. It seems clear to me it was never their intention to honour their promise and allow me to get a few quid off tyres so I've now had to order them myself at the best price I could get. Buy a car from Imperial Cars and if there is anything wrong be prepared to fight to have your problems rectified like I had to. Don't believe a word they say and get everything in writing.
I'm 53yrs old and have had numerous cars. This is the Worst |car company I've ever dealt with.

Greedy bustards!!!
Terrible service
We happened to be in the area (60 miles from home) so we popped in to have a look at purchasing a new car. The sales team were really helpful and friendly, and we loved the car and the price, so we put a £200 deposit on the car.
And that’s where the customer service nose dived. What followed was a cataloge if miss information.
When we asked for a call back from a manager we were subjected to a torrade of abuse which culminated in the manager hanging up. We have now pulled out of buying the car, which has meant we won’t be refunded the £200 deposit, but at least we won’t have to deal with Imperial Chertsey again!
Q, When is a deal not a deal? A. When you buy a car at Imperial Cars ,Chertsey
I booked a slot to view and test drive an Audi A5 at Imperial Cars, Chertsey. Provided the viewing and test drive was acceptable, my aim was to part exchange my Audi A4 , and drive my newly purchased car back to Bristol ;a 220 mile round trip.
On arrival I was greeted by Luigi , the car sales person, who after taking a few details, allowed me to inspect the car at my leisure, and helpfully answered the few questions that I had about the car. He accompanied me on a test drive which was unhurried ,and on a route that allowed me to test the car on road conditions of my choosing.
The car was fairly priced taking into account its specification, and I was made aware of the additional £180 admin charge . So ,subject to an acceptable valuation of my A4 , I was happy to go ahead with the purchase.
So far, so good.
I had done some research on what my car was worth in part exchange for an A5 in this price range ,including an on line provisional evaluation from Imperial prior to making my appointment . Basically I was prepared to pay the screen price for the car and the admin fee, in return for a part exchange value near to the top end of their online estimate.
The sales representative went through the evaluation process and on completion presented me with a derisory figure ,far below the lowest value in their online range. I turned this down, and after speaking to his Sales Manager the valuation was increased by £500 .This was high enough to start a negotiation with the Sales Manager and after the usual posturing and “consulting his Director” we mutually agreed the final price, written in his own hand, and shook hands on the deal.
The remaining admin process was handed back to the the Sales Rep to hand over the car for my trip back to Bristol. He showed me the MOT and service documents which were fine, and went away to collect the V05.
After 10 mins or so, he came back and stated that he had bad news for me, “ the Sales Director had upped the agreed price by another £180” . There was no other explanation, and clearly the Sales rep was embarrassed ,having to do the dirty work for his anonymous Sales Manager. At this point , having them waste the best part of my day, I headed back to Bristol in my trusty A4.
If my experience is anything to go by, I would advise anyone to steer well clear of Imperial, particularly if you are considering part exchange.
