Verified Reviewer | Ridgefield, WashingtonMy ex works the lead night shift as a waitress. And sure this might be petty, but it is 100% true ... This gal drinks on the job every day.
As I said, she is my ex. For a reason such as she slept with a customer.
But the company would probably like to know she drinks every single day on the job. Just a little bit of vodka in her drink. Then there's also the waitresses sleeping with customers for money part but I'm sure all in all the casino doesn't mind that. Seems like a dirty racket to me.
I'm glad I'm out. And like I said I know it's Petty but this girl done did me dirty
- Will take your money

Verified Reviewer | Ridgefield, WashingtonPoor customer service
Very rude hotel night attendant. Dont know how to handle customers problem. Narrowminded, judgemental, inconsiderate.
Preferred solution: For their employees to be more considerate and not racist. To handle customers well enough for the customers to feel valued and welcome.
User's recommendation: Know your rights. Speak up.
Don't even bother
Tightest slots I have ever played. I guess they have to pay for their overpriced hotel.
Lack of food options, but still serving alcohol.
Smells like stale booze, and is somewhat dirty. Lack of customer service.
User's recommendation: Don't bother going
Targeted complaint
Last many visits, no features no playbacks, 2.50 bet win .05 cents, 1200 in 1 machine 0 feature or play back. Just sad to how certain people are targeted. Man upstairs knows the cruelty.
User's recommendation: Wasteland
This place is terrible
Rude staff, not enough food after a certain time. Still keeps the change from cashout tickets by giving a voucher.
If you couldn't afford the hotel maybe you should not have built it. Tightest slots ever
The security at ilani casino is extremely rude. I called ahead to see if they had overnight RV parking and the gal said yes and gave me directions. We got there around 1pm and no one was in the gua
Nobody was in the guard shack at the overnight RV parking when we arrived. We parked off in the corner parallel because we were well over the length of the parking slots.
There were no signs saying that we needed to sign in so we proceeded to the casino. We returned about 5:30. The next morning security knocked on our door saying we could only park there for 24 hours. When we told him we had only been there since 1pm and we were preparing to leave he says that's not what our records say.
He claimed we were there 3 days. I could have showed him a receipt where we stayed the previous night but he was only concerned about what he had to say. As we left the girl at the gate claimed they knocked on our door all 3 shifts. That also was a lie because we were in the rv from about 530pm until morning.
If she was doing her job she would have noticed the shuttle brought us back. She also complained how we parked and I said we did that as a courtesy to other rvers. She proceeds to say you have been here many many times...and I replied about 2years ago. She says then you know how you're supposed to park.
I told her it was a dirt parking lot and no lines. She says well now you know when you come back. I replied that isn't going to happen.
I worked for Verizon and if I had treated our customers like that I would have been fired. I wouldn't want to see someone fired but I think a class in customer service is needed.

Verified ReviewerThe more you lose the more than rank you higher.
This is no complaint, it is about the truth behind this casino and, possibly all casinos. But, as they say, somebody has to win, why can't it be me?
Do you people realize you are playing right into there hands? This casino does not pay for all the structures, hotel, pool, etc. you do. All players who use their cards in the machines, are given tid bits, chinese prizes and amenities.
These amenities are paid for by your losses, not wins, at the machines, etc.
Lastly this particular casino is being sued by the State of Oregon for blackmailing certain government people to refuse any other casino near them in Oregon from being built. This is not the Indian way.

Verified Reviewer | West Linn, OregonFront entrance women’s restroom
For the past several weeks the two handicapped restroom stalls at the casino front entrance have been locked and unusable. There is a sign posted indicating that some tile work is being done.
It appears that nothing is being done; this is more than a huge inconvenience for those of us who rely on the use of the handicap stalls. This is the first restroom location I access when arriving and the last I normally utilize upon leaving.
Why would you lock both stalls, and for this length of time?
Please complete the work asap or unlock one or both stalls. This is a health issue and is actually a big deal.
What on earth were you thinking to take both handicap stalls out of commission for this length of time? Absolutely unacceptable!

Verified Reviewer | Ridgefield, WashingtonOver charged for drinks
I actually enjoy going to the Ilani casino mostly because its closer to my house. Its clean and beautiful and the people are friendly.
But this time I went I ordered drinks and was charged $13.00 for a shot. Later I ordered the same exact drink and was charged $6.00 I asked the waitress if it was happy hour or something she said no thats how much this drink cost. So I got taken by a Ilani employee. You go to the Ilani not expecting to loose money but not to be taken by the staff.
I must say its not all of them .
Ive met some very nice and helpful people who work there.. But how do I trust that the machines are on the up and up.

Verified ReviewerI been coming there since they opened
Ive been coming there since they opened and still have yet to win any money. I worked very hard to achieve card status.
But if you miss maintaining the point system even by 3 points they bust you down to lower status. Who has $3000 to spend every time you go?? Not everyone.Give a ways are great but winning once in awhile is expected. Everyone knows your there to make money and we all know the cards are away to count how much money you spend there but if I can make more money at the bars in Portland why should I come there?
Now that the bars are open or just go to a video arcade and play games at least you have no expectations other than loose money.
To many times the machine just sucks it up. And you realize you didnt even get a kiss before you got Screwed
- Its clean
- Might as well just burn your money at home and save gas
Preferred solution: Something
User's recommendation: Go elsewhere
I’ve bee going since they opened the doors
Ive been going since they opened and never, ever have I won a jackpot not even close. Spent a lot of money trying to get card status and if you miss qualifying to meet staying at that level by just 3 points your busted down a to lower status.
Without any big wins who has $3000 to spend every time you go? Hate it there its the closest but you might as well stay home or play at the bars in Portland youll have more fun and win money Im so disappointed.
At the most you should be able to play but it eats your money like a kids arcade. Its not fun if you feel used or Gypped!!!

Was over charged for drinks
I actually enjoyed going to the Ilani casino mostly because its Closest to my house and its friendly and clean even tho you cant expect to win. But this time and I was shocked!!
I ordered a drink and was charged $13.00 for a shot. I thought it was high but isnt everything at a casino? So okay. I reordered the same drink maybe an hour later and was charged $6.00 so I asked the waitress if it was happy hour or something.
She said No! Thats how much this drink is. I told her how much I was charged earlier and she very nicely apologize which was great . But damn!!!
You feel like you cant trust the machines not be rigged not to pay and now youll be cheated by the staff for your money.. I have gotta find a better way to spend my hard earned retirement Damn!!
User's recommendation: I have none.. That says it all!!

Verified ReviewerMachine erred - kept money
I have yet to be contacted. All I would like is an apology for the accusatory tone the staff took with me. I wouldn't think they would treat their VIP's like this.
Made it seem as I was lying to gain $9.75. All this after waiting an hour and an half. I was thanked for waiting and they kept the money.
- Lots of games
- Accusatory
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Be weary if machines err

Did you try speaking to their manager?
They did nothing worth being fired for. You think you are better than them because you worked for Verison. You call a grown woman a girl, but you are the one acting like a child.
