The Key Code Stopped Working
I got Windows 7 Professional 5/7/14, I thought all was okay but they sold me the wrong copy and had to get them to help me re install the right copy. I paid 69.42 back then and now 2 years later I'm getting a error message when I login that my Windows 7 is Invalid and I need to install a valid copy.
I wish I would have known about them before I purchased it online.
I need to contact them to see if I can get a Free Key Code. I can't believe there are Companies out there that would Scam a much needed Software like Windows 7, it just goes to show people will stoop to any level to make a BUCK.
Buyers Beware
- Bad product
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Did not deliver as promised
I paid $140 for a 3 computer download+disk edition of Office Pro 2013 on 9/25/14. They said they were out of disks temporarily, but would send me one in 5 days.
To date still have not received. I don't know if I have a valid key or not but will check with Microsoft.
Then they charged me an additioal $4.20 foreign transaction fee as well. Their name was not on the website of the seller and if I had known they were the supplier I would not have purchased.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
Ordered Windows 7 pro disks x 6, sent me email with downloads.
These were sold by Tech Supply King, sent downloads by IKONA Yumsoftware. I didn't try to use the downloads.
Sent email back saying I didn't order downloads, ordered disks. No response. Went to Live chat on Tech Supply King, they said email or call. No answer on their pnone, says support staff all busy and office closed, during normal business hours.
There was nothing posted online in terms of consumer complaints about Tech Supply King and was surprised to see the billing show up as IKONA Yumsoftware. Tech Supply King states that they are a Microfoft Silver Partner on their website.
Charges in dispute with VISA.
SCAM!!!!
I was looking to purchase Microsoft Windows 7 and was looking for the lowest price. I did a search 3/27/2014 and (Ikona Yum Software) Tech Supply King showed the lowest price. The prices seemed too low and it caused me to look harder into this website. I did a web search on how to identify a fake site, and found a tool called Copyscape.
Copyscape looks at all sites and compares the info to find simularities on other websites. It found Tech Stop Illinois and Tech Supply King are very simular, almost the same, only a few details were different. I read the info on Tech Supply King on 3/27/2014 and the business address was 1046 W Kinzie St. Chicago, IL 60642. This address was Googled and it was a possible vacant office space for lease. I looked agian the day after and the address was changed to 2483 Patterson Fork Road, Chicago,IL 60610.
I did a search for that location and wasn't able to find this as a real address. The change was resently done because the old Kinzie address was still on the web page, but the Patterson Fork Road address came up on the search results for Tech Supply King.
The site looked like it is a site that will steal your personal info and credit info.
A lot of peaple, including myself, are looking to upgrade from Windows XP, since support by Microsoft is being discontinued.
A site like this may be looking to capitalize on the flood of comsumers looking for a newer Windows version.
Avoid this site!
There is a great chance that you will be scamed!
Would not sent the disk, only download
I ordered an OEM disk for 8.1 and then got an email to download. Got on chat with them and was told it was back ordered and would be here in 5 days.
I waited over a week and no response from them. I went to chat with them and was told again to download the program. I told them my connection speed was to slow and I needed a disk as I had ordered. I told them the first time I wanted a refund but was asked to give them a few days and they would burn me a disk.
I started getting worried then because this would not an original disk, but a copy. The second time on chat I told them I wanted a refund and was told I had to wait 4 hours and call back. I then told them I would contact the authorities if I did not receive a refund now. I copied the chat then and sent it to my email box for verification.
I went to my bank and when they looked at the conversation they then filed fraud charges. Later that day I got an email saying I didn’t have to go to the authorities, but only got a partial refund.
Went back to the bank and then I got the rest of my refund. Do not trust this company at all, they are based out of Canada and I was lucky I used my bank card and I have a very good bank.
Software was not compatible (they refused to give me a refund)
I purchased microsoft publisher and it was not compatible with my computer. They refused to give me a refund even though it clearly states on their website "Money Back Guarantee".
I called customer service and they said they would not issue a refund unless they could not get the product to work. I was on the phone with them for over an hour while they attempted to get it to work. At the end of it all they could not. They then wanted me to download all new software for my computer so that their publisher would work.
At this point this company just seems like a scam.
Regardless of the problem, any good company will issue a refund if their product does not work. They did not.
Ordered, paid, got nothing
I purchased Microsoft Office 2010, paid for it and got nothing. I was told to download the program from their site.
When I tried they said the had no record of the sale. (my bank statement says ) I originally did not want a download. I wanted and asked for a Microsoft disc. These people are NOT honest and you should avoid doing business with them.
I will go to my bank and complain about this and see what happens.
This is fraud and I think Microsoft needs to be notified about people representing bogus products. BBB as well to try to force these people out of business.
Downloaded WIN Pro 7 and it does not function on my computer.
It initially took around 10 hours for the tech representative to get my software installed. Since then all kinds of problems arose on my computer.
I spent a good deal of time and money getting the problem diagnosed. I was told Win 7 Pro would never work on my machine. Seems to me that the company could have assessed compatibility before the download. The product was guaranteed and it doesn't work.
I am told that it is all my fault for not knowing the software was incompatible. It was a complete 32bit download, not an upgrade. I expected more competence and customer service.
The representative refused to give me a phone number that I could call. There was an additional charge on my credit card from the company that I did not authorize.
Ikona Yumsoftwarecenter Sold Me a Fake Windows Office 2014 License Key
I tried to purchase a 2010 Windows Office key from this Toronto based company that proposed to offer student software rates. While I asked to purchase the older Office edition, when I attempted to download, they upgraded me to 2013 for the same price (that should have warned me, right there!) I had live chat assistance that helped me load the software.
I thought everything was fine and I used the product constantly with no problems. The software worked great for 30 days and then turned out to be a trial only!!
It is now looking for a license key--the one they gave me doesn't work. This company is a fraud...do not use!
Ordered MS Office 2010 Tried to upgrade me automatically to 2013
I ordered MS Office 2010 and they automatically upgraded me to Office 2013 and obviously the product key they gave will only work with 2013. Well that's not what I wanted so I clicked on their chat button and told them that I needed MS Office 2010 and he said he would change my order and to wait a few minuets and refresh my page so it showed me a new product key for 2010 and a new download like.
Downloaded the software and installed with the new product key they gave me and it worked like a champ. No complaints, No complaints, No complaints, No complaints!!!!!!
I tried to purchase windows 7...order # 92975 and 92985...total $135 ...one lasquisha promised to refund my money...up till today no software no refund...now their website is down
I first saw their offer under techsupply to sell windows 7...when i paid for the first one, they later told me that i have to download...then i cancelled and bought another one that i could download...from $70.00 to 65...
when it came time to download, it was not possible...and suddenly they offered a refund for both items...i am yet to see the money...
lasquisha...and howard deceived me...promised they would install it all to no avail...the company should be taken off the web for deceiving people ...
they are not trustworthy...i would take the matter up with federal authorities...
They sold me a fake windows 7 cd key

Offered Windows 7 for a reduced price
We called to get an activation code, but none was a available. Turns out this is a special for schools and corporations, but it is sold as useable by all. Calls to the company go unanswered.
Microsoft cannot assist with an activation code.
Paid $91 for nothing!!
As with previous complaints the company is non responsive. Further, the add is extremely misleading as customer feel they are getting a real product, but for a reduced price.
This is tantamount to theft as the software is useless without the activation code and the company does not respond to requests.
We are appealing to our credit card company through it's Fraud Line!
Software Deal Champ
Downloaded from their website and burned dvd of Windows 7 Home Premium, for a fee of $44.99. The download would not install with the look for updates option and the digital signature could not be verified.
Checked with Microsoft and the Activation Key was a company user only and not for sale to individual users- It's BOGUS and not supported by Microsoft. They offer multiple software downloads and will help you burn the disc or install the ISO file- but no other support is available.
There is no email address or phone numbers- just live chat windows. Don't get scammed.

Same thing happened to me after working fine for about 6 months. Tech support would not help. Said they'd give me a number to call and then promptly hung up.
