Hi WHY do you not deliver my order in Side as you now both have a Turkish contact number AND my email adress When can I expect my order delivered ?

Customer Service Complaint

We bought the LISABO wall shelf unit. While installing, one of the legs broke (very easily), which might be our fault or the quality of the product. We have contacted IKEA Turkey with a request to buy the extra leg in order to be able to use the product. The customer service kept filing our requests and directing us to one of the stores in our city. The store contacted us and told us we need to pick up the piece from the store. We are not able to physically go to the store. Instead, I requested the piece to be picked up from another location of theirs where my family members can easily pick it up. Unfortunately, they did not have the piece in that location. I called one more time to inquire about the process of returning one of the shelves since I cannot install both. Almost two months passed, I received no response and no remedy. I am extremely frustrated. I have a young baby at home and I work full time. I do not have time (and money) to be dealing with a company that treats its customers like this. IKEA is an international company with a massive production system. I would expect them to have the extra piece I requested available and be shipped to me at the cost they expect me to. Because I accept that breaking it was my fault, I agree to pay for the cost.

Very Upset customer

I am very upset with the lack of professionalism from the customer service representatives at Ikea. I purchased a wardrobe 2 months ago and was told they would deliver. I waited on the day of the delivery but they did not show up. Today I got a message from that they would arrive between 1-4 and still they have not come. I called the idea customer service representatives and they were uneducated and useless!!!! I will never shop at ikea again!!! the service is terrible!!! I do not want the furniture any longer ı would like my money back. I am paying for delivery and it hasn't arrived! This is very unethical of İkea...taking advantage of its customers is unethical!

I completely agree with you, I was made to feel like I rwas trying to get something for nothing. The young boy was so rude to me I was in tears, I have never felt so humiliated in my life, worse still he argued with me, what happened to the customer always right theory. I class myself as a kind and respectful person, I didn't deserve this treatment, and my issue wasn't even resolved.

I have lost my gift card

Dear sir, I am a customer of IKEA for many years. I bought beds from IKEA /UMRANIYE/TURKEY one month ago and paid 1700 TL (570 US$ approx.). 1 week later, my wife and I didn’t feel comfortable, so I had to return them back to the customer service of IKEA/UMRANIYE. Unfortunately the staff who works in customer service insisted me to receive a gift card instead of paying my money back to me. I had to receive it since I have been purchasing all my things from IKEA for years. Unfortunately a few days later I lost my gift card during my house moving and went to customer service to inform and to talk to them .They informed me they could block my gift card to prevent any other people use it and I have demanded from them to transmit my money to another gift card. But they didn’t accept my request although I have talked many people from customer service department. I believe that this application of UMRANIYE/ IKEA shop on this matter is not acceptable when compared to other shops of IKEA in European countries. They can transmit my money to another gift card. But they don’t do this because of their unacceptable procedures. They have blocked my money and doesn’t allow me to use it. I believe that many people have suffered from this application of IKEA UMRANIYE shop so far. Please kindly warn them and take the necessary precautions for the IKEA UMRANIYE/TURKEY procedures which are not proper to the European laws & CE standards. I expect that I will have my remaining money in my gift card after your consideration. In case I have a negative reply from you unfortunately I have to apply to Turkish Consumer Court. The adult thing here would be to admit responsibility for losing your gift card and accept the consequences of your actions. You lost your gift card you have no issue in courts.

Try acting like an adult rather than a child. If you cannot hold on to your gift card than give it to someone more responsible and mature.
