IKEA Saudi Arabia - Complaint
I have not heard from IKEA yet regarding my complaint. In addition, their customer service center is very weak, and they don't have the ability and the suitable skills to resolve customer complaints. As a result, I contacted Pissed Consumer in order to help me in resolving my issue with IKEA located in Saudi Arabia.

No communication, cancelling order, no refund

Good day 21th of April I order items online with this shop ( order # 200051****) website for saudi arabia, since that time I am trying to contact company about cancelling the order and refund the money, not replied to many my mails , sensed to their contacts or suggestion department. Every day I am trying call their service( following Ramadan working hours of course) they even didnot pick up the phone. Please help with this annoying issue, will be apreciatted . Staff at ikea Riyadh

Number of staff are few and the ones around are not very helpful. Some products one is told to "contact staff". The response you get is so bad that one ends up leaving disappointed. I tried to buy a foot stool - on the label it says contact staff. I went upto two different counters but was directed each time to another counter and since the staff and counters available are scanty queues are long. Hope ikea will try to make improvements and have quality control and have suggestions from customers.

Gift card without money inside it !!!

I'm talking about ' IKEA ' in SAUDIA ARABIA- JEDDAH , I've bought a gift card for one of friends with a 400 saudi riyals . when he went to use it he found nothing in it , , 0 riyal ! ! ! ! ! no body helped him there even the customer service they did nothing for him ? ? I complained to IKEA customer service thru their e-mail many time, no response. they put me in an embarrassing situation front of my friend . ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Prices in the catalog are different from those in the store

I have chosen a LAGAN faucet (catalog number 100.850.27)from IKEA calalog, which stated that its price was 69 SR. When I went to buy it from IKEA- Jeddah, the cashier asked for 99 SR. We had to argue with him for over an hour, until at last we got the difference. Would you please work on revising the prices in the catalog and make sure it is the same as in prices in IKEA stores everywhere? On another occasion, the salesman was quite rude in answering our inquiries. This is a new attitude that we have never experienced at IKEA stores before...what is going on?!

Please revise the prices in the catalog vs. those in stores......Please watch out for the attitude of your salesmen

No one show-up on date of assymply

I ordered kitchen with delivery and assembling and given schedule date. On schedule date the goods have been delivered but no one show-up to do the assembling. I called IKEA customer services and no proper action taken. I visited IKEA store to complain and the store supervisor complain about the company IKEA contracted and IKEA management for not taking action and there was many people like me in the store complaining about similar case. I have been given another appointment and again no one show-up. Three weeks with no action from IKEA. Even though I met the store manager and it look like they do not care about customer complain and customer experience.

Grocery shop is more professional

I went yesterday to IKEA in Riyadh Saudi Arabia looking for a bed and a closet. after like 3 hours of searching and standing in a long line to pay the cashier I went right away to receive my stuff. it took them like 1 hour to call my name and suddenly!!!! my items are not available and out of stock!!!!!!! imagine I was not the only one and yet the customer service manager was extremely rude and saying (what shall I do) go complain and refund back your money. however I waited till 1 AM along with other frustrated customers who started tweeting against this bad service and AGAIN suddenly they manager came out and said sorry system is down. COME NEXT DAY AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!! *** SERVICE. I know that no one will care about my complain but I will never stop tweeting and blogging against this idiots driven company it seems that

Poor Service in collecting my Sofa alone with no help

On 29th of Nov 2012 I have visited IKEA store in Khobar to buy some items in addition to sets of Sofa (5pcs) after selecting the right sofa I thought it will be ready for me!!! I went to cashier to pay for small items & pay also for Sofa sets but I really get surprise that I have to go Back & search for all items myself & even worse I have to manage it my self I feel disappointed because I cannot manage all big items myself 5 big items & move it with trolley to deliver to cashier No one help & I was about to leave without it but I lost 4 hours staying to identify suitable one and difficult to leave without buying I try to myself to collect with help of some employee who say that it is not their responsibility to help it is really very strange I do not accept such dealing you cannot manage small items with big items at same time & take all to cashier (1 alone) !!!! the same door & cashier is used for big & small items That means there is something wrong with IKEA store management even though the store is very big I hope that the way of handling big items to be different I am very disappointed of such service in IKEA however I like shopping in it!!!
