IHookup.com is a scam dating site

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The site is owned by a company based in Malta, a small island between Italy and Africa. The site is set up very poorly and cheaply and is full of fakes, scammers and bots.

As a percentage I would guess 95% of the profiles are fake. They encourage you to become a paid 'gold' member so that you get benefits like 'priority' viewing of other 'gold' members. The problem is there is no icon on any profiles that says you are a regular(non-paid)member or a paid member so you can't tell a regular member from a paid member. The only priority you get from being a paid member is from the site sending you fake messages and flirts from bots.

You waste your time sending messages to fake profiles that can't and won't read or respond to the messages you sent. They claim gold members get message storage for 1 year but they start deleting your messages after about a month. It takes about 6-10 weeks for the site to cycle through all of their fake profiles. Your mailbox and flirts will be very busy at first until they run out of fake profiles, after they cycle through all of their fakes, your account activity drops to nearly zero except for a few scammers from Africa contacting you.

They also claim gold members get 24 hour customer support but if you complain to them about the site, you don't hear back from them at all. Once you've paid your money to join you can't get it back. They list a no refund policy in their terms and conditions and you have to agree to the terms and conditions to join. iHookup collects your profile info and pics and uses it to create fake profiles to be used on other scam sites.

Any profile info or pics you post becomes their property to do with as they please as listed in the terms and conditions you must agree to to join.

IHOOKUP.COM IS A SCAM

I signed on with ihookup.com for a year and then realized fairly quickly that it is a BS site. They have flirts which state let's chat, You're hot, Let's get coffee, call me. These flirts don't mean anything. I don't know how many I have responded to and have not had any reponse.

Also I have received emails from many women asking to chat, talk, share pictures etc. and I have responded to dozens of these emails and not had 1 response except from a couple of Ghana scam artists.

Stay away from this site. They won't return your money if you cancel your subscription.

I want to cancel my subscription

I want to cancel my subscription but can't find out how to do that. I don't get any answers back and never get women that are supposed to be in my area.

so i want to get out of the subscription and i want to do it now. how do i get this done without going to the cops. Any one out there know how to get out of the contract? I guess the better business bureau should get this.

I keep trying to get out but it keeps billing me.

So how do i get out of this g. d.t.

IHOOKUP.COM IS A SCAM

I paid money to joing IHOOKUP to meet women. The site will have you believing that all these women are giving you access to all these explicit photos of them.

Thing is when yu try and contact them or send a message they rarely respond. Now I dont know how many women are willing to give up naked pics of themselves and then not respond. Long story short I never met , and knowone ever contacted me.

All I got were pictures of women. Women who either exist somewhere in the world who probably dont even know their pictures are out hterie like that.

I was on this site for a year. I cannot say this was a complete scam, but there are quite a few women on here that are scammers.

Beware of the ones who say they are temporarily in another country, and will be back in a few weeks. These are usually ones who want to correspond offline. After a couple weeks, depending on the woman, ( I am sure men do the same) they make you feel important. One can get very involved, especially if you are in awe of the beautiful fake photo they send you.

Once they reveal they are in love with you, or at least very interested, they will find a reason to need money. The first request was for $500. The next woman sent me about 8 pics of a knockout model. After 3 weeks, she needed $100 to continue our conversation since she did not have enough money for her internet account.

Christ, all she had to do was sell one of the outfits she was wearing. Needless to say, I did not send any of these phonies any money. Just out of curiosity, I emailed the second one and said I was ready to send her $200. She wrote back in a day, saying she was on her friends computer and gave me an address to wire her the money.

What a joke! I am no Don Juan, but I know a woman my age would not be embarrassed to be seen in public with me at least once. I attempted to contact younger, older, same age over a year, and got very little response. Certainly nothing long term.

Only from the phony ones. As long as you do not have high expectations, go ahead and have some fun with it.

I signed up thinking it was a free site to meet people and even posted a profile picture. Now i get the runaround when i try to delete it.

They direct me to go to my profile and select settings but when i try to sign in they say my username or password is invalied. BIG SCAMM going here!!

LMFAO! Well the point os for people to share a regular picture first.

Then you get to know each other and take it from there.

Its not like your actually paying women for pictures or their time. Well that was supposed to be the point at least but its a scam

Send me money and I'll respond to you. what do you want me to say? How do you want me to look?

for $50 I'll be a brunette, for $100 I'll be a blond.
