My bills are way to high never paid this high price before ! My bill has always been under 100 dollars I believe Im being gouged in price so I would like to cancel and use a different company

Bill increased astronomically

Same story as everyone else. The rep who came to the door told me there would be no termination fees and that energy might actually be cheaper. My bill increased by $100 each month and I have to pay $99 to cancel. The one upside is that they waive the early termination fee if you're moving, which I am soon. Thank God.

User's recommendation: Don't sign up. It's a scam.

Terrible service

Sign with igs solar in July on 1 October 2020 came to install solar. They install it on the back of the house, and then they realized it was supposed to be the front of the house. So they removed from the back and install on front of the house leaving holes in my brand-new roof. They said someone would be out within a week to replace the roof. 45 days later and 20 phone calls later still nothing. File a complaint with the BBB and going to file with the courts to get a new roof. Stay as far away from this company they don't care about their customers.

Terminating fee

A man was going door to door signing people up. He said no termination fees and I signed up for 2 utilities. I changed both services got an increased rate and $198 term fee for both utilities. The guy did everything in his laptop and said no term fees. Talked to their supervisor and he read the fine print "I may be charged" so I'm stuck with it. Rep lied, I'm disabled and blind in 1 eye and I trusted him. I've used 3rd party suppliers for business and personal for years. Never ripped off before. Well I pay or my utilities will be shut off. Stay away from this trip off company.

IGS promised lower rates, now twice as high as SoCal Gas

IGS came to my door and promised rates on gas that were much lower than SoCal Gas. I signed a contract with them to switch to IGS as gas supplier, but still use SoCal Gas's pipelines and delivery services. Now I pay a rate that is twice as high. I want to cancel, but don't know if I will get fined for it. My gas bills were already high, and now they are even higher. I have read a lot of angry complaints about this company not honoring their contracts or signing people up without their consent. Don't sign up for IGS.

IGS Energy was a bad choice for me. I think it may be a good deal for people that use a lot of gas.

For me my bill with SoCal Gas was around $30 a month. With IGS and SoCal Gas I was paying about $35 a month. I cancelled my service because they were inconvenient to pay...no online payment option. I just got a bill for $294.41.

I'm sure I'm being penalized for something. I just want to be done with these people once and for all.

Never again. I hope I can prevent people from making the same mistake I did.

You're not really reading into things. IGS is a great supplier and the way the beat their competitors is buy offering low rates without a penalty for canceling your contract. I will be a IGS customer for life
