Defective product, lousy customer service
- - Dog door installed; flap about 1/2 inch off the frame, leaving a gap.
- - Photos were requested; attempts to send failed; no response; I'm out almost $100.
Don't buy these products. Company is 100% unresponsive to issues.
Installed dog door - flap was about 1/2" off the bottom of the frame leaving a gap - contacted customer service. She said send photos.
I emailed them. She said she didn't get them and to send another way. I asked if I could text them. No, sorry.
I then asked how I was supposed to send them - no response. I asked again how she wanted me to send them - no response.
I contacted the CEO on LinkedIn. No response.
I'm out almost $100.

Puppies are too short for the dog door it should be able to adjust lower than a foot. It's 10" high in house when dog goes out it's 12" step down.

I ordered a replacement flap for my dog door from Ideal Pet Products. When the order came in I discovered it was the wrong part.
I emailed the company at their posted return site and requested a return address since there was not one listed. After five days when I hadn't received any information, I sent another email. Still nothing. They state they take returns for up to 30 days with a full refund.
It appears they are going to totally ignore my request or at least delay it long enough they won't have to take it back. I would suggest that this company isn't very ethical based on my experience.
Preferred solution: Full refund
