Verified ReviewerProblems with register.com
- - Long-time customer seeks faster, more secure, cost-effective service.
- - Provider won't assist in transferring domains and holds assets.
We have been a customer for over 20+ years with register.com, web.com, bluehost.com and network solutions Parent company or partner.
We are trying to move away from this network of companies to a faster more efficient company who has much better service, security features and increased server times along with more competitive pricing.
They are essentially holding all of our assets and wont actually assist in moving our domains away from them.
There is no real reason or legal reasons why we are not being allowed to transfer them. We are paid up 1-2 years ahead of time.
Currently have up to date contact information, accounts are in good status.
Email address is up to date.
We believe they are infringing on our consumer rights, breaching rules of law and disregarding ethics for basic business and commerce.
Our decision to move away from them is that we do not get the services we pay for.
Their sites are infected with viruses and malware.
They also spam our email with them frequently and do not have proper security offerings or upgrades.
We believe we have a legal right to choose a new company for our domains and email provider. They have cost our company loss in revenue.
And have not provided us with safe, honest or ethical services.
Please help!!

Verified ReviewerFail to respond to legitimate messages about their registrars violating terms
Fail to respond to legitimate messages about their registrars violating terms. I emailed them but they ignore on multiple channels.
Preferred solution: Action taken to reverse the registrar's illegal decision to make a domain premium AFTER purchase
User's recommendation: Complaint to your government about monopolies
