Horrible Service and Crooks!
- - Upfront $100 charge, then a $4,200 engine head quote.
- - Engine ran well before, so the claim seems untrustworthy.
- - Overpriced service, steer clear.
Over priced and horrible service! I vowed never to go there again but had no other choice due to the fact X Marina in Westland was booked up for winterizations and Shrink wrapping for countless customers in line for service there already.
If I wanted to enter a Tournament before it is over I had no other choice after checking with many other Marinas as well!
They took my boat in for $100 bucks right off the bat!
They called a few days later and I called back to check on it.
They said my boat was ready for pick up and I thought Wow!
I am glad it is ready!
When I asked what was wrong with my Well-Maintained engine that always runs Awesome but had some wiring I could see needed replacing and maybe a New battery because it was low after charging...
They said hold on and another guy came on the phone and I again asked what the problem was, and he said and I quote, "Your engine is Blown and I can get a new head for it for around $4,200.00 dollars plus labor and parts!"
I felt like a Mack Truck hit me in the face with that news! My engine ran Awesome and Never failed me before! I just paid it off because I had a different engine that was not good so I bought this one 3 and a half years ago!
Please steer clear of these Crooks! My friend could Not believe it and told me he had a similar experience there before and he too says They do Not care about anyone and steal as much money as they can from people!
He was right!
They really are Crooks! Watch out!
