Feelings of disappoinment, anger, saddness, frustration, disbelief and many more. I am an owner of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. We purchased the car with 6,000 miles on it. We have been proud owners and have taken pristine care of the vehicle. Last week we heard a "ticking" in the engine. Took it to a Hyundai dealership who charged $116 to tell me the engine is bad. The car has 75,000 miles on it, 75% of that being highway miles. I would never in a... Read more

While I love my vehicle, Hyundai customer service is the worst! Since buying my car, I have not only never made a late payment, but also made many additional payments to principal. However, today I received a call from their collections agency saying my account was past due. I spent over 15 minutes talking to them, and reading off each of my payments and the days they were taken out of my account to show there was no way it was possible. They... Read more

Took them 7 years to admit with recall NHTSA 14v41500 that they had a problem. Still didn't solve the problem of a leaking value cover gasket leaking onto the alternator. I had to have my vehicle towed in 5 times for the same problem with only 64,078 miles total on vehicle. They still never stepped up to the plated and handle correctly. Have an open case #9870729 placed 1/4/17. I still have not heard back from them to date. Being a life safety... Read more

As of today, the Hyundai Tucson that I signed for still has some type of dysfunctional dual Clutch/transmission. The car was brought in to Pugi Hyundai (Downers Grove, IL) and I specifically stated... Read more

I recently moved to the state of New York who requires a title from the automaker in order to transfer the registration. They allow a 30 day window for the individual to take care of this for the registration process. I have been after Hyundai for almost 30 days, call them on several occasions, put almost 7 hours of phone time in and have gotten absolutely no where. When I attempted to elevate the problem the customer service rep said all the... Read more

I have now owned two Elantra's which both was purchased new. I do not intend to own any more. The first Elantra was a 2004 and a great vehicle. My current Elantra is a 2013 Limited. It wears out the rear tires three (3) times faster than the front. Which seams to be the normal for this vehicle. VERY BIG PROBLEM. I also do not like the fact it did not come with a spare tire (***). What happens when the tire blows out? Your repair kit, or any... Read more

Losing thousands and thousands in value but trapped in insane note. More than a year and dealer still has not fixed tint. Liars and thieves.

Regardless of what automobile manufacturer makes a vehicle, I find it COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE that a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with 107000 miles has a faulty transmission. I am not the original owner but I do have two Sonata Hybrids. Hyundai MANUFACTURES TRASH. Because I am not the original owner your 'company' will not replace the transmission or offer any good will. This is delinquent. If you had any sense of customer service or of quality... Read more

"While driving my 2012 Sonata it started to have loose steering then started to hesitate frequently. While driving it started to hesitate and a metallic clanking noise ensued while attempting to accelerate at 20 - 30 miles per hour. Drove to dealership and was told the steering would be taken care of. Was also told the oil had metal shavings which was effecting the motor. The car is under warranty, this is a known issue. The service department... Read more
