I got to know about this company Hybrid Construction thru my friend. We were selling our house and needed a quick installation of new kitchen from Ikea and master rooms walls to be painted.

I spoke with Hybrid Construction and had a young man name Hamzah Assaf come out to our house and measure that afternoon and the installers came the next day. The kitchen looks great, the price was good, and I sure appreciate the fabulous customer service.

BTW--the paint, even though it was reasonable, isn't really an inferior quality and i expect that whoever buys our house will use it for a long time. I couldn't be happier.

Hybrid Construction - Contractor Review from Chicago, Illinois

Bad Business here. The contractor , {{Redacted}}, Hybrid Construction in chicago did not pick up any of my materials, did not place any orders and did coordinate the workers.

I did all of that! All {{Redacted}} did was come in 3 times to pick up his payment. 2 weeks into the job, he wanted to he paid in FULL.

Then the job, which was only 460 Sq ft ran 5 weeks longer and costed far more than our original contract. Bad news.

Bad construction

Had this contractor build a regulation basement suite in a house. Cost a fortune and was bad workmanship.

Nagged about getting the holdback of 10%. Bullied client. Now we are moving tenants in and discovering all kinds of defects. They used bad paint, did not cover new flooring so there are speckles everywhere and scratches.

knicked the painte when installing countertop,. window was code but would not open or close properly and fell out. It took us weeks to get someone out to check the window and replace it.

Now, we discover that the closet is 4 inches too shallow. Be very careful and dont hire this company.

Sloppy Work

We had a secondary suite built in the basement. Price went up by eight grand in 6 months.

The workers were very sloppy. Did not cover the new flooring while they worked. Put the kitchen sink in an awkward place and did not check with the home owner first. This will have to be changed, sink is barely usable.

Paint job was shabby, homeowner had to do some rooms over. Sloppy caulking. Left lots of garbage in the yard, from the subs. They did not clean up the drawers and cupboards after kitchen install.

Boss hardly checked on the workers and he was Pushy about final payment, did not want to wait until after final payment.

Tenant moved in and discovered that the tub takes 13 minutes to drain. A new friend had told us not to use them, but they had already started.Would not use them again.
