Hurricane Car Lot has poor management and shady business dealings.

Hurricane Car Lot is the worst car lot I've ever dealt with. They don't provide accurate or up-to-date requested information, and tack on extra fees and payments. When you request confirmation of payments made online, they can't ever seem to locate them, or bother to answer your calls. They claim they will do repairs before you purchase the car, then charge the consumer for them. The manager Tara is unprofessional and immature. They turn into phone stalkers if you are ever late with a payment, and don't bother to verify information. All I can say is buyer beware. I plan to tell all of my friends to steer clear, there are better dealers elsewhere.

It is important to point out that Hurricane Car Lot is a buy here pay here. This means they do in house financing, and in most cases, to people with terrible credit. When those people do not pay their payments, they get phone calls, they may also opt to return the vehicle if a weekly phone call is too much for them. Also, the car lot has a courtesy rate review program every six months to lower the interest rate for good payment history. This is very rare in the industry.

Hurricane Car Lot is also a long time member of the Better Business Bureau and is proud of their A rating.

Every customer at the time of purchase is provided a Due Bill, as per state law. This document clearly explains what is owed to a customer after a purchase and the customer is required to sign and understand before proceeding. It is highly unlikely that a bonded dealership is going to make promises that is doesn't keep. A Due Bill is very easy to understand.

So, in short, this sounds like a classic case of 'can't pay on time so I'm going to throw a fit'
