New 2016 F-150 door is a different color
I bought a brand new 2016 Ford F-150 back in December, assuming all of the body panels paint color is the same right? Wrong, get it home only to notice in the sunlight the right side passenger door is a completely different shade silver than the rest of the truck. Returned it to the dealership, Huntersville Ford in Huntersville NC. They basically said that if they would have noticed this defect upon receiving the truck they would have sent it back. Did the door get damaged at the dealership then? After much discussion between Ford Customer Care and Huntersville Ford we agreed to have it painted and blended to match. Now it looks even worse than before. I purchased a new truck not one that should need a paint job. This truck should be replaced with a new truck that originally tried to buy! To make the situation worse the dealership is now "done with me" on this issue and refuses to assist further!
