When we built in 2001, we had Hunter Douglas blinds installed in our home. Recently, we added motorized room darkening Vignettes to the bedroom windows. They are great! We are very happy with the quality of Hunter Douglas products ~luminette, wood blinds, shutters & vignettes. Had other brands of blinds in our prior home that were custom but Hunter Douglas is a better product. I feel that the key to great customer service is to do business with...

Have spent thousands of dollars on Hunter Douglas blinds throughout my home. While they look beautiful, I was told the motors are done on 8 year old blinds. OK so I thought I could have them repaired, think again. I was told the PowerRise technology is obsolete and they can't be repaired but Hunter Douglas will discount new ones for me! Why should I spend money to replace these blinds? Why would they stop making parts? So you have no choice but...

This situation has been going on since June,2016 and has continued.I spent $2,300.00 for one window... I contacted your Dealer last week and asked if the gap in the middle of the shade was in fact a gap or overlap of the vanes. He advised it was a gap. I asked John to please contact his customer service team at Fabrication to resolve this issue. We no longer have the older style head rails in order to comply with safety regulations. Dolores --...

Hunter Douglas Customer Care Review

Blinds are beautiful. Customer service at the store level sucks (can't get anyone to answer my calls) and Hunter Douglas corporate shifts the blame back to the store. I paid a good sum thinking this was a solid company. At the end of the day, I Could have done better with a budget company

It's the installer whoever that you hired is to blame. I've own high end HunterDouglas products and very happy for what I got.

Spent over $10,00O on blinds 4+ years ago. Have Duette Architella Honeycomb, Silhouette and Luminette shades in our home. The only ones which haven't gone back for repair are the Luminette ... and fabric has seriously faded on these. We have repeatedly had the Duette Architella Honeycomb blinds repaired under warranty, but customer should be aware that you pay shipping each time, and it is rather costly ...the price of shopping has recently gone...

We have the wifi connected blinds. We spend way too much time trying to connect and trying to get everything to operate properly. the hub will not connect sometimes and we have to reinstall. the blinds will occasionally disappear from the list and have to be reinstalled. we have the battery operated version which is a bit of a hassle to keep up with if you use your blinds often. we end up spending time just trying to get everything to work. I...

I have a automated window shade (Duette) by Hunter Douglas. It does not function well. It never functioned well. I visited a store in Stuart, FL that displayed Hunter Douglass on their window. First I was informed that the unit had a lifetime warranty. I was told to take it to another store to the guy who is the repair center for a Hunter Douglas. Nope. They don't do repairs. Back to the first store. The woman calls Hunter and talks with them...

The reps at company are just looking to make money. Customer service is poor and snotty. There are a lot of good blind companies out there, Hunter Douglas use to value their customers and created a quality product. They have cut production cost but has not reduced the cost to the customer. Buyer beware! The product falls apart after a year. Sales people have little knowledge of the product that they are selling and forget about texture and color...

Electric/battery operated blinds. Great idea. Took two months of visits, measurements, delays in delivery then the installer. Worked for a week or so, then one of two didn't. Took months of visits, sending back one blind with a thin paper replacement window covering, that wasn't it, got a feeder, that wasn't it, got a new remote...worked. For three months. Other blind now broken. Pathetic product. Customer service people polite, apologetic,...

I bought the Skyline panels under a year ago and I have the remote. The remote has gone out twice. Now after we have been North for the summer the panels are bowed. It is now a week since I called the dealer and no service. I bought the panels because a new light was installed outside. Now without Hunter Dougas service I don’t sleep or live in a cave with the hurricane shutters closed. Why do have to enter 100 words -why why why why why why why...

We ordered hunter Douglas shades which were pricey. The order took 8 weeks to make, two of the shades were defective and had to go back and for one of the shades that was installed it looks as if one side is flush to the side of window and the other has a gap where light comes in. It looks like the shade was made so that it wasn't evenly positioned from the top device going on down. Or the installation was poor. I wasn't impressed for the price...
