Huhot Mongolian Grill

Received two experiences of poor customer service and asked to reach out and was treated poorly. A manager on duty is there to ensure customer service and Austin acted like a part time associate and cant handle day to day business. I work in service and am more accommodating to day to day operations but this service is disappointing

disappointed and will follow up with more. I received too bothered to help but too important to make sure standards are met and customers are happy Austin is a rude less than honest person who shouldnt be a team member influencing others I would appreciate a phone call about the two events please and thank you.

Customer service

I was currently in your Council Bluffs Iowa location out with my family for Veterans Day,where I bit into a rotten black mussel. When I told the manager Rena who is acting store manager that it was rotten and I lost appetite and I would still like to pay for my meal if I could take the food home.

I had a whole plate of food and it should not have gone to waste. She said no we dont have to go plates and she would not even hear what I had to say. I also know that Huhot does in fact offer togo orders. When I asked her to take the meal off that I could not eat due to the lack of the togo offering which I know is there, she snatched the plates off of my table extremely rudely and we did not see her again.

My waitress was very well mannered and her along with the other waitresses were very apologetic for the managers action. And I told them that they were fine and it was the actions of there manager that I was upset with. So I sat at the table me and my family were sitting at and watched them eat there dinner. I left your Establishment hungry and angry.

And had to stop at McDonalds for a double greaser with cheese.

I ordered a Tate of bounty it was burnt.

The mussels were old and tasted like they had gone bad.

Waitress only came around to see if I was ready for the check.

After today I will not come back to this location

Huhot Mongolian Grill should be closed. Heres some highlights from my experience there, which will never be repeated by the way:

- They leave buffet serving utensils in UNCOOKED meat, UPSIDEDOWN.

- The entire self-serve experience does not promote sanitation.

- Their garbages are overflowing, with food and other messes left on the ground.

- The business owner will personally attack you on social media for sharing your fair review online.

Honestly, going to Huhot Mongolian Grill was the literal worse restaurant experience Ive had in my entire life.

We were anticipating our meal at Huhot and having all of the healthy vegetables and shrimp and Krab etc but upon arriving we were not met at the Wait Station and had to wait for a few minutes before being noticed. We were finally seated and anxiously got our plates and headed to where the food was to fill our plates.

We were not impressed at all by the selection of meats displayed in front of us as we did not want any pork, meat balls, chicken, or fish as we can eat that every day.

We looked for the shrimp and could not find it and asked where it was and never heard from anyone as we were left hanging with plates in hand so we looked at the Krab and then realized that it was probably the imitation Krab which is why it is spelled the way it is with a K.

Anyway, we left after our disappointing visit to Huhot never to return again. As it was empty I'm sure others must have felt the same way.

I recently worked at Huhot Mongolian grill I was only there for about three days (I know right)really thought the job was really cool until I was let go my third day of training. The reason for me being laid off was supposedly because I was not at the 50% mark that I needed to be , which remind you it was my third day of training I had only greeted two tables and walking around being trained,.I was a little nervous and the greeting that I had to know was.forever long, the owners had said they had been watching and listening to me but at the time of me greeting the table they were no around.

Ive never had.this problem anywhere. I took the news very well told them thank you walked out With my head high.

Two weeks later I was expecting my check from training get there and I have a check for $7.77 I asked the manager what the check was.for she said that the third day you clock in as a server not training which is totally fine but two days were missing on my check, she told me it should be in two weeks from now.

Before wasting my gas I called to see if the check was ready, she told me that she didnt have one in for me I reminded her of what she had told me two weeks ago, she replied "that she was calling the owner right now to see if she knew anything and she will be sure to contact me before she leaves work." Hours pass she gets off at 5 so I called back at 3:30 she still had contacted the owner, so I gave it ubtil the next day the host answers the phone and asked for my name she told him to tell me she's busy call later so i did I get the same response everytime.weeks later I decided to go up there the owner is there tell her that I have been contacting them about my check their manager never called back she got an attitude told me to sit down she doesn't know she would go look sat there for 30 minutes she came back no check she said she had nothing for.me Abe asked who trained me and also ny hours, though I was.told to write down the time i came in and left he said he put the paper on they desl she wants me to drive back up there to talk with the trainee. Its too much I don't think it's right I felt as though I was working for free so I have turned them in I just don't won't anyone else to have to go through what I have with them.
