I JUST GOT A NEW TRUCK FROM THERE AND THEY LIED AND CHEATED ME OUT OF MONEY FOR MY TRADE IN THEY LIED WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD PUT NEW TIRES ON THE NEW TRUCK I GOT FROM THERE. THEY LIED AND TOLD ME THE NEW TRUCK HAS ON SCREEN MAPS AND NAVIGATION. THEY LIED WHEN THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD PUT A BED LINER IN THE NEW TRUCK THEY NEVER HAVE. I HAVE CALLED CHEVROLET THAT IS A JOKE THEY TELL ME TO CALL AND GO TO THE DEALERSHIP.
- Being lied to and cheated
- Fact that no one has contacted me to make things right
Preferred solution: THE DEALERSHIP GIVE ME THE 1000.00 DOLLARS THEY LIED AND CHEATED ME OUT OF FOR MY TRADE, PUT NEW ALL TERRAIN TIRES ON THE NEW TRUCK AS PROMMISED, INSTALL BED LINER AS PROMMISED, STOP THE TICKING NOISE THE ENGINE IS MAKING , INSTALL ON SCREEN MAPS, KEYS
Deceived me on my purchase
At the first of April, I went to several Chevrolet dealerships looking to purchase a new truck. I was looking at the 2012 Silverado 1500 LT 4X4 with a 5.3L engine.
When I went to Hubuler, they had the truck I was looking for, but Dustin (the salesman) showed me a 2011 model. He told me that since it was a 2011, I could also get a better discount. He also sold me hard on the fact that it had a 4" lift. We talked for an hour and he said the 2011 had everything I was looking for (plus the lift), and he even joked that it would be my first lifted truck.
I decided to purchase the truck ... after the transaction was over, and got in the truck to drive away, I looked for the window sticker and couldn't find it. I got somewhat suspicious and drove back to the dealership. When I was told that they couldn't find it, I started looking at things on the truck and discovered that the engine was only a 4.8 (instead of the 5.3).
A few weeks later, I found that there wasn't even a lift kit placed on the truck. So, I immediately called Dustin, and he asked me to have another Chevrolet dealership look at it to confirm it did not have a lift kit. When I gathered all the paper work and returned to the dealership May 1st, Justin presented me with a paper that showed they installed "lifted shocks." So now the salesman and dealership has deceived me. There is no way I would had paid $7K for wheels, tires, shocks, and running boards.
I have had several dealerships and truck experts look at the truck, and they all state that the shocks they have installed on the truck do NOT add any lift. I even had the truck laser measured and it is the exact same same height as the standard Silverado 4X4
Hubler Chevy Shelbyville, IN sells 2002/2005 Dodge Neon
Do not buy from or darken the doorway of this dealership.
If you even drive onto the lot to "look" they got you!
I was sold(screwed into) a "Q" Certified 2005 Dodge Neon. Carpet inside the car is reversed (the rubber pad that goes under the pedals is behind the drivers seat.) The Back bumper is off a 2002 Neon (gaps under the tail lights). And I'm sure this car has other issues that I can't wait to uncover in the future.
I'm not very familiar with the Neon, so I did not see the problems until a long-time Neon Owner pointed them out to me 3 days after I bought the car. I contacted the sales manager, George Wilson, and my sales guy, Jeff King, and of course, they will do nothing to fix the problem. Mr. Wilson also had the audacity to question how would I know the bumper was wrong or the carpet was back-***-wards.
(Gee, mister-***, there this thing called the "Internet" and it has pictures and descriptions that show the differences in the 2002 and 2005 Neons)
This sales team proves how the "old-school" used car dealer really is. When I was purchasing the car, I was told they could stay open later in the evening to "accommodate" my work schedule to get the paperwork all squared away to purchase the car.
Now that I found problems with the car, well,... now I can only come Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, during service hours so they can look at it.
(Gee, that is when most honest people work, like me!)
Plain and simple, these used car screw-meisters know they do not have to do anything and time is on their side.
So, if you want a good multi-year "Johnny Cash" Used car, see good Ole' George Wilson or Jeff King at The Hubler "Screw"-"u"-sed cars in Shelbyville, IN.

I agree. I would not trust them to service a lawnmower.
and just now there is a recall for seat belts!!! REALLY SEAT BELTS!!!
GOVERNMENT MANDATED AND A MUST WEAR!!! GM CAN NOT GET THE SEAT BELTS RIGHT ON A VERY EXPENSIVE TRUCK!!
AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING THERE WILL BE MANY MORE !! PROBABLY TRANSMISSION, front end suspension, engine ticking, ETC
This has been the worse experience ever and has been since september 07 2015 the day I got the new truck Hubler lied and cheated me out of my trade in value! I was told by the new car manager they would put new all terrain tires on the new truck then after I got the new truck they would not!
The new car sales manager said he would install a new bed liner and never has. I was told by the sales person this new truck has on screen maps and navigation. The window sticker and the salesperson advertises this new truck to get 16mpg city and 22 mpg highway. This new truck gets 14 mpg city and 18 mpg highway.
The new truck has developed a loud and annoying ticking noise that it did not have when I test drove it! Hubler and chevrolet will not do anything to make the ticking stop. I did not get the original second set of keys to this brand new truck. I have been to the dealership many many times and they will not do anything to help with these issues.
I have tried to call the owners and no return calls, I have e mailed them no reply. I even sent them a letter and no reply. I have called chevrolet that was a joke they told me to go to the dealership and call the dealership absolutely no help from chevrolet or the dealership!
I have owned chevrolets my whole life and this will be the last. Every one that ask me about my truck I tell them this story
