I have been a valued customer of HP for more then 20 years, and NOT much longer!

I have also been an In customer for approximately 6 years, and I have owned more then 7 printers.

I purchased a new Laptop in MAY, 2022, and I was having problems printing. I called HP and the technician advised me that my existing HP printer that was 5 years old, was too old to work with the new laptop.

Since I was a Valued Customer buying directly from them, they gave me 9 months of free ink.

Which, I already had the service. Well, that should been the first clue, it was changed to 6 months.

As soon as I installed the printer we started having problems. The printer started going offline.

It wouldnt print, we had to remove the program and reinstall it, it would work for a few hours and go offline. Then it would print very slow, another problem.

While they were on the phone, it would work, and as soon as 5 minutes later it wouldnt print. Sometimes it says: offline, and will print.

From July 18 September 23,2022, I have 5 case numbers, and have spent NO LESS then 10 hours, on hold or speaking to people at HP with no resolutions.

One day, I was on hold on my cell and office phones for 4 hours and they got the printer to work and 10 minutes later, we were back to uninstalling the program, reinstalling to get it to work for a few more minutes. We use the printer constantly for our business.

On Sept. 20, after holding an hour.

I was transferred to Amy, in the escalation department,

Case # 509218****. I spoke to her on Sept.20, and advised her that I was tired of dealing with all the issues and that I had also never been told when sold the printer that it was strictly wireless. Even though previously I had been told by a technician that there wasnt a problem with my internet connection. I told her that I wanted a new printer and that it also had to be wired.

. She advised me that they could possibly provide me with a refurbished printer. I told her:No! I paid for a new printer and was not going to accept a used printer.

She said she would contact me in a few days. I explained to her that time was of the essence that this problem be resolved and that it was Tuesday, if she contacted me on Thursday, by the time she got back to me it would be the following week. Today, Sept. 23, after being on hold 50 min.

And transferred to Amy, her solution was that I purchase a cable so that the printer could be wired and send her the receipt and the would reimburse me!

This took her 3 days to tell me! I refused and said, I want a new printer. She said, we dont have any here. I said: I want to speak to a supervisor and she refused because, it was Friday and closing time, 6:30.

Between the phone time, the down time of the printer and the aggravation for the last 9 weeks, I dont recommend you purchase an HP Printer. #HP Sucks.

Youre a Valued Customer when purchasing, And a Non-Valued customer when you have a problem. Whatever happened to Valued Service?

Keep having to tell them to cancel my account. It's been about a year now still keeps charging me.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

HP instant ink is horrible. If I could give zero Stars I would.

If I could actually just like their *** on fire I would. All their products do is invade privacy. Always listening always recording always turning on and off by itself. They charge you for pages that came out blank they charge you extra if you go over the number of pages even if you don't.

You cancel your account they say they can't until after the next billing cycle. But then sometime down the road they go ahead I guess upon themselves and turn it back on. Unbeknownst to you until you get the next bill. You call up there they're not even in the states.

Their some kind of Foreigner. Probably because HP could care less as theyeveryone's money.

Their raud busy taking your money not having money to pay their own people but run sweatshops other places. Definitely without a doubt is left wing only worst.

At least they take care of their own.

I have and HP Lap top and find it impossible to talk to an agent. I would like a remote assist. This is frustrating because the service was always good.

My warranty expired a month ago. I purchased a 1 year Post warranty plan so I could get some help solving my problem. Windows 11 latest security update will not download. I even had a error code number and all get is a virtual assistant that has yet to be helpful. $63.99 spent for a lot of frustration.

I purchased an HP Envy computer from HP that never performed well within the 1st year of purchasing it. I was patient with your company for almost 2 years while they encouraged me to let them collect the laptop (many times) to 'fix the computer'- to no avail. Furthermore, I was concerned that while I trusted the company to do this for such an extended period that the warranty would expire, and I would be stuck with a computer out of warranty and would not have worked well from the initial purchase. When I spoke to them with regard to my concern, they assured me that that was not what they were doing and in good faith, they extended the warranty for another 9 months while they ensured me they would fix the problem. I asked for something written to this effect, and they said it was not necessary and that it would be on my file. To this date, the problem has not been fixed. Just this week of January 25-29 ****, I have been told by the complaints clerk that I would have to pay for the computer to be fixed. I told her about the 9-month extended warranty, and she told me that would have never happened because their computer system would not allow that and there is no note of it on my computer file. Not only did she make me look like a liar, as per my concern, I am now left with an HP product that never gave me what I paid for and just as I suspected, they have prolonged replacing to wear out the warranty so that I would now have to pay for a computer that never gave me what I paid for. The issue with the computer is not a trivial one since each time I listen to videos there is a loud crackling sound- cannot hear the videos. My studies online have been hampered because of this. I have no extra funding to pay to have it repaired nor to purchase another one.

Frustration

I bought a HP Printer Envy for my MAC in October. Since purchase it has not printed in color. I have did virtual chat, tried toooooo many times to speak with someone. Did diagnostics and there is no selection for color.I even did the remote without any resolution. If they cannot solve the problem, who can. I want to return it because it has never worked and does not seem to have a solution. I bought a printer for black and color printer not just black. Trying to reach a customer service rep is impossible. You become so frustrated and give up which is probably what they want. If I could rate them degrees below 0 I would. Where do I return it to be reimbursed. If it is not suitable for a MAC it should be clear.

Warning to other people

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This is to warn others not to buy anything from HP. Three years ago I saw what I thought was a very good deal for an HP computer on one of the T.V. shopping channels. I don't remember exactly how much I paid. I think it was $900 and change. A few years before that I bought an HP printer. WARNING, DON'T BUY AN HP PRODUCT EVER! From almost the day I bought both these things, they were temperamental. Meaning, sometimes they worked, and sometimes they didn't. I was very busy at the time and I needed to have the availability of both the computer, and printer, I thought I could handle the unreliability, so I purchased their tech support if I got really stuck for $14.99 monthly. Their tech support wasn't reliable as well. I had to call for tech support constantly because there were continuous problems with the computer Sometimes, the person on the phone was competent, but many times not. Sometimes they were even arrogant. I've paid for that support for three years, so it became quite costly. I've had to send the computer back one time as well. As for the printer sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't. Usually if you wait a few hours it will print again, sometimes you have to wait a day or two. I've had many companies computers and printers. This is the very worst I've every had! Do not buy any product from this company! DON'T ACCEPT ONE, IF THEY WANT TO GIVE IT TO YOU!! You will end up pulling your hair out of your head with frustration. Be kind to yourself don't get involved with their products!

Purchased a printer from HP over the phone. I did not receive what was promised. In the future I will always buy from best Buy

I like HP printers that is not the problem. But when one of them needed replacement I went and talk to representative over the phone from HP. All her promises unfulfilled. I did not get five months of free ink I got two. I wanted to recycle my old printer she said I would get money back. Not true. when trying to contact HP to get my promises fulfilled I couldn’t find anyone I spent two hours on the phone. At Best Buy I would’ve got 15% off my new printer if I recycle the old if I went to Best Buy I would’ve got five months of free ink. She said that she could do all this for me but it was untrue. She just wanted the sale.
