They said they knew more than Medicare & Medicare was just misinformed. My current one is 11 years old. I need help dealing with an educated caring individual. The receptionist wouldnt even let me talk to anyone. She said she had worked there 20 years and SHE knew the truth, not Medicare.
User's recommendation: I liked my Hoveround , but they think they know more than the Government at Medicare.

Lack of response.
I called September 6th re: two front tires needing replacement. 11 days I called back to be told they needed Dr fax #. I gave it. Called Dr today, she never received paperwork. I need my chair and its impossible to get help. Please dont use the hurricane as excuse. That was yesterday. Its been a MONTH.

called to order parts and they said they were in stock and i would have them the next day.Three days later no parts.I called and was told they did not have them and they were on back order.I told them to cancell order and send me a refund and i would order again when parts were available.Still ne parts and NO REFUND

Make certain that re pairs are to your sattsfaction before the serviceman leaves your home.
I have been a Hoveround customer for about 6 years so I decided I was ready for a new one.according to Medicare rules. When I received the new chair (MPV-5) it was running a little too fast. I had a repairman from the company come and slow tt down somewhat which he did. The only trouble is that the chair going forward is to my satisfaction but in reverse it barely moves They refuse to come and fix it unless I pay for a $120 service call. T.his was the fault of the repairman who adjusted it incorrectly so I feel it is the responsibility of Hoveround to rectify the error.

I am in a wheelchair that is not working. I have been trying to get hoveround to send me the supplies to fix it since 10/16. My ins keystone has been contacting hoveround with approval letters but hoveround state since they are under their networth they need a loa letters to complete the requested. I have been calling keystone every other day to get them to send letter of agreement. They keep sending notice of aggreement which is notice of approval.
