Horrible and unprofessional
- - Credit score dropped after they checked it, from 620 to 578.
- - No call to explain denial; only an unclear email.
- - Do not use this company; go to your bank.
This company is very unprofessional. My credit score dropped after they checked it.It was a 620 now 578.
Really ridiculous. They never called to tell me why I didn't get approved just sent a email but didn't specify the reason and would not respond back. A realtor recommended them and i should have never did it.
when you go into a big named company and they recommend somone you think they would be legit. I hope this helps others, Do not use this company just go to your bank.

Like others, I too lowered my credit score because of an excessive amount of inquiries. From one month to the next my score dropped 12 points. All in a week.

Houstonian Mortgage Group - Worst lender in houston
- - I was referred to Houstonian Mortgage Group.
- - The FHA vs conventional loan comparison wasn't provided.
- - Ben Sinclair was rude and did not meet in person.
As recommended by my realtor, I used Houstonian Mortgage Group for my preapproval. What I asked for was to run the numbers for an FHA vs Conventional loan and see the difference.
Never got my comparison done, credit rating ruined by the preapproval. Tooks weeks of constant emails back and forth to get any sort of response. "Ben Sinclair" was extremely rude to myself and Realtor, talked over me, and would not answer any questions about the fees associated and why the paperwork never matched.
Reporting to HUD as predatory lender, he did not even bother meeting me once in person regardless of his "promises" to be there at closing. A complete scam artist just in it for his cut.

This company must of ran credit check on my name I never bought a house or rented any property from them like everybody else my credit score was lowered and this still on my credit report this is a scam to get your information to make it look like they legit company I told my husband not to give them any info about us I will report to credit bureau and pay a company to clean my credit back up the things desperate people do karma will get you!
