RIDICULOUS PROCESS

I am trying to cancel my subscription which you can't do online yourself because they want to try to convince you to not cancel. So I tried the chat which is absurd. WHY SHOULD I SIGN UP AND PAY $1 to SPEAK WITH SOMEONE. I don't care if it is refundable...that is VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I guess I will go back to being put on hold and wait for two hours to NOT receive another callback.

Paid subscription til 1/22

My mom's subscription is paid by check only until January 2022. The check was redeemed for the amount written on it, and the section "memo" clearly read "Paid in full."This means the payment was accepted. About there weeks ago she received another bill for $67+. If she pays by check, there is $5 so-called Processing Fee. I called customer service to discuss this issue and after talking to three different people (I kept their names, wrote the date and time) and I am still waiting for the call back from the supervisor. These people lack sensitivity, common sense and worse: they have no idea of what they are doing. I'm going to try once again and if there's no response/resolution, she will cancel the subscription.

User's recommendation: Get the email addresses of the higher-ups and let them know how badly they manage the business.

Failure to deliver as promised

For the past year or more I have had repeated failures to deliver my newspaper. If the Chronicle wasn't the only newspaper in town I would not subscribe to it.

User's recommendation: Class action lawsuit to punish the Houston Chronicle for false advertizing.

Failure to deliver as promised

About 2 days per week I do not receive my newspaper. Often I get it after 9 AM. When the owners of the paper bought out and closed the other newspapers in town I suspected such.

User's recommendation: Do not use the Chronicle for anything.

Horrible delivery problems

The delivery person has poor track record getting the paper to me on time, or even at all on the same day. Have complained to him, and to customer service many many times...to no avail. One of the many customer service reps. told me there have been many complaints from other subscribers on the carrier's route. I have asked for someone who can do something about the issue to call me...no one has. I don't know what other info you need to look into this...I certainly don't want to reveal any personal data at this time, save for my email address. marvin.blum@***.com So, I'll just type enough now to get up to the 100 word requirement. Thanks very much.
