Housing Authority of Kings County - They cancelled my housing voucher for no reason
What happened? my brand new first time housing voucheer was CANCELLED which the expirtation date is till march23 2023. Denied to opportunity to participate in housing assistance programs. denied a disability related reasonable accomodations. aftre all i went throu to get the ''emergency housing voucher''when i finally found an apartment they voided my voucher was told for lack of funds how can this be? i asked beacause the fund are allocated for every voucher out there, any way i ask zenia chavez if i was going to have priority when funds become available and said NO, Its not fair that they do this to me i didnt even get to use myvoucher my local hosing authority theydo things on the gray area in order to get help you need to know someone that knows someone i know that for a fact they have too much poewr and no oversight they do what ever they want how they want, all i want is for them to honor my voucher that i had to jump thru hoops to obtained ,IM DISABLED AND UN-HOUSED for the past 5 years.

  • People there do not care they have too much power for what they do

Preferred solution: I want my voucher renewed and if there's no funds the I should have priority for when fund are available
